Got our house painted 5 days ago and Baseline came today, took the paint off the corner of our entrance and scratched the wall. Phoned them to discuss and they were extremely rude and wouldn't even apologize, saying it absolutely was not them. I would not recommend!
Do not deal with this company. We purchased the more expensive GROUPON deal for $189. Their serviceman showed up and finished the house in less than one hour and charged extra $125 for the stairs and hallway. No upfront information about the "extra". They advertise themselves as "free estimate". But they just want to charge you at their discretion whenever feel like. There was no justification for why we were charged $125, he just told us at the end that even if we paid ahead, we still owed mone
I hired Baseline carpet cleaning to come clean the rugs before we moved in. He finished the carpets in the entire house in less than 45 mins, never removed his shoes, and complained about the carpet when he found a stain. I found he was very unprofessional. I vacuumed the rug when it dried only to confirm that he didnt do a good job at all. I called him the next day and he refused to come back and do the job properly or refund my money.
The cleaning itself was very quick (under 45 minutes for 3 bedrooms, hall, stairs and a large family room) some marks on carpet not cleaned well.
The customer service and attitude was appalling. Did not arrive at agreed time. Did not take off shoes he wore from van or cover then, did not bring anything (eg foil) to put under legs of furniture, appeared unhappy that I would expect a couch or small desk moved for cleaning - I was prepared to help (ended up not moving some things), complained about cat hair and stains in carpet (um that is why I hired a company...), missed some areas entirely (I asked him to reach under our king bed as much as possible as we have allergies -no attempt made at all and had to ask him to go back and do the closets in kids rooms. Never did introduce himself (too much of a hurry for that) and left no paperwork when he left. When I tried to call the company while the cleaning was ongoing his phone rang...
I would call to get them to come and redo the few stains but while they were here I asked for a couple of stairs to be redone and was told that was not good for them. He said they just put stain remover in the water and do not pre-spray stains (as I have seen other companies do).
While I commend him on running a business, there is a level of expectation of service and courtesy. I am glad i changed my plans and stayed home to supervise or I can imagine how fast he would have zipped through! Seems getting to as many places as possible is more important than repeat customers!!
I have learned my lesson and will go back to my other cleaner which cost a bit more but is worth the better job.
Jamal and his crew came by and did a great job on my house. Carpets were filthy but the crew at Baseline cleaned it all up. Low prices great service. I recommend!!!
