Sorrentino's Bistro-Bar welcomes you to their dining room. They are open after-hours from Monday to Saturday. You can get there not only by public transit but also by car and visit them in a location acknowledged as stimulating.
The warmth of the Italian culture is felt in the atmosphere and the menu at Sorentino’s downtown location. And that inviting feeling is elevated by a fireplace that provides the ideal spot to sit and reminisce with friends over a bowl of house-made ravioli.
Every year, Sorrentino’s restaurant group hosts their popular Garlic Festival. It’s a celebration of everyone’s favourite stinky bulb, as well as a fundraiser for Sorrentino’s Compasion House, which hosts women undergoing treatment for breast cancer. Every one of the restaurant’s locations host various garlic-related events, giving you the perfect reason to come together with like-minded foodies while enjoying some fantastic garlicky dishes and helping a good cause.
This three-course meal will appeal to seafood fans. For the appetizer, pick either a seafood lover insalata, made with tiger prawns, calamari, clams, mussels, scallop cherry tomatoes, olive oil, arugula and lemon juice or a cabbage and porchetta salad, drizzled with honey mustard dressing. The main event features black apron beef short ribs, made from 72-hour slow cooked ribs, beetroot risotto, goat cheese and spring onions or pan-fried sable fish with an amaretto and pumpkin orange emulsion, creamy clams and sea asparagus. Sample a wild berry tart with meringue crumble and Bailey’s lemon cream and sherry sauce for dessert.
