The restaurant was great and the food was cooked properly especially the beef it was so tender.
- made an online reservation around 3:30pm - got reservation confirmation around 4:30pm for 7pm - arrived at 7pm was told a few minutes...okay - was called and brought the the lounge area - after a few 10 mins or so, we asked when is our table, was told all party has to arrive first...(all parties arrived, just 4 of us), was told she will look into it - after 20 mins passed, we asked again, was told the next one available... - friend got really mad and talked to manager - manager said another 20 mins - after 20 mins, manager came back saying the table ordered ice cream, so asap... - imo, if the customers ordered like sake after ice cream we will have to wait even more? - at 8pm we finally got seated, table consist of 12 chairs, somehow they need to wait for the other parties (we don't even know) to place order??? - didn't actually got to eat until 8:30pm... - at one point friend found out another party was here at 6:30pm and still didn't get seated at 7:30pm - the fact that if restaurant reply back saying they are at full capacity, i would feel way better rather than standing around for an hour before getting seated...at one point a waitress had an accident and pour drinks all over the lounge floor...my brand new shoes got splashed already in just a few hours of wearing them =.= - at the bill, they charged us a drink we didn't order, had to get it canceled out... - menu stated all dinners include: Teppan Shrimp Appetizer (3pcs), Shabu Shabu Soup, Garden Fresh Vegetables, Rice, and Japanese Green Tea...had to ask for the tea...=.= - don't think we will go back ever again, the experience back in 2007 was good thou
A co-worker I just met told me that we should come check this place out, so we did. I'd told her I liked my food hot and this place was off the charts hot - they cook the food right in front of you and it comes steaming and fresh, which is amazing, and the cook was juggling his steak knife while making the food! It was like nothing I've ever seen. The food itself was amazing. I ordered shrimp and steak - I can't remember what they called it on the menu - and ended up with a whole whack of other stuff besides. I don't remember the last time I gorged myself like that, but I just couldn't stop eating the food was so good. Place was pricey but given the quality of the food it's totally worth it. I don't know what the place is like during the week but it's packed on a Friday night. We went in without a reservation and it took a while to get up there. I thought about leaving a couple of times but Jen said it'd be worth the wait and it totally was. You end up waiting in a bar, though, so it's not like you're sitting or standing around to get taken into the actual restaurant and the service in the bar is awesome. Upstairs, though, everything gets a little hectic. The food comes fast and furious, but it can be a little tricky to catch a waitress with all the stuff going on. Once I got one to come over the drink came pretty fast, but actually getting one was a trick. It might have been because we were on a back wall. Over all, though? Awesome experience. I'm going to count my pennies and get back on here as soon as I can.

While it can be a tight fit when busy, this Japanese-style steakhouse offers a unique experience by organizing tables into groups. Once you get a seat at the live action grill, you can enjoy the show and watch your steak being cooked before your eyes. The waitstaff are friendly, and the chefs are there to cook and entertain. While the prices can be high, the spectacle of the meal is worth the price.
