Sometimes the bachelorette party isn't about getting your dance on at the hottest clubs. For those nights when you want to enjoy some live shows, good food and great drinks, The Railway Club is a great place to visit. The bar is a bit small and can get crowded, but the service is amazing and the drinks are reasonably priced. Head upstairs to grab a spot for your group to take in musical performances and comedy shows
Nestled upstairs away from the hustle and bustle of Dunsmuir Street downtown, the Railway Club is a locals-only joint that features live music of some sort virtually every night of the week. Genres span from punk to indie to classic rock and beyond, so check the calendar before heading down.
First opening its doors to railway workers in 1931, the Railway has played host to countless musical acts over the years, including the likes of K.D. Lang and The Tragically Hip. Today they continue to maintain the decades-long tradition of hosting awesome live music and serving the coldest beer. The mellow atmosphere combined with a decent selection of taps ensures that most visitors return again and again. Be there for the sing-along on the first Monday of every month.
