Wasabi House invites you to their dining room. They are open nightly all week and are readily reachable by public transit but also by bicycle. They are in a quiet area acknowledged for its history and its nightlife and its grassy spaces. You can have your dish conveniently delivered at home.
Wasabi House has become one of the most popular sushi restaurants in Halifax (it probably helps that they throw you a lot of free rolls!) They have some great lunch specials (11 a.m. to 3 p.m.) and a Happy Hour (9 p.m. to 11 p.m.), which can get quite busy. The menu is large, with an extensive list of combination dinners and Chef’s Special Rolls. There is a vegetarian menu with the delicious Bananayama Roll, and they make some stellar sushi pizza and agedashi tofu. Check out the Sackville location for the best all-you-can-eat sushi in the HRM!
If you’re in the mood for sushi, Wasabi House is the place to go for take-out. Located on Quinpool Road across from the Oxford Theatre, it is a popular location amongst students and the older crowd alike. Their menu is packed full of different Asian cuisine options, and isn’t just limited to sushi. They are also known for giving extra sushi to customers, which is always a good thing. Check them out during their Happy Hour, which is every night from 9-11pm, for awesome deals on their delicious sushi!
