PATHETIC MANAGER....NO LINE SYSTEM...CONFUSED EMPLOYEES...THEY GAVE MY ORDER TO SOMEONE ELSE....MANAGER WAS TRYING TO BE OVER SMART BY TELLING ME TO WAIT...AN ABSOLUTE WASTE OF TIME
Very very poor Customer service - we ordered food for a gathering of 30-35 people and as per their flyer they were to charge us and it was decided with the owner but on pick up day, the owner's wife was argumentative , rude and very un-cooperative and would charge us a higher rate. She would not even clarify but keep arguing- good food should always be accompanied with a greater service because ignorance to customer service in this business cannot be ignored.
Took my family here for mother's day and it was very busy! We walked in and wrote gave our names and got a table within 5 minutes. After trying the food I can tell why there were so many customers, the food is mouth-watering! Definitely the best Indian food in the GTA. Won't be going to bras or tandoori flame again. I could tell they were hustling to work as quickly as possible, which can be appreciated in such a busy time. Very clean place, elegant decor. Will be coming back again next week!
Take away : Paid for one pound Veg pakora for only 3/4 pound of actual pakora delivered. When asked i was told that the weight reduces after they are fried in oil. Effectively anyone gets less quantity and pays more.
I never liked Indian food much till I came here. I like that it isn't all typical "curry" foods, and tey make their own Naan bread on site, freshly servied HOT. The buffet isn't extensive, but everything is excellent! LOVE their butter chicken (ofcourse) and many other things I had that I don't know what they are called. I think its great that tey offer to bring you the appetizer (forget what thats called too) cuz I would never be able to prepare it myself from the cold bar. For $10 per person, it is the best bang for your buck, and one of the best Indian food I've had.
Food is extremely spicy! Some of the currie is watered down. Price for value is below average. Not sure why some of their sweets are not on hot table. Place needs a little cleaning (floors).
They have separate hot and cold buffet stations. The cold selections are actually better than the hot. Hot foods were a variety of curries which is fine since it is an Indian restaurant however I was hoping for something other than curries. However, considering the price (-$15 for lunch) I would recommend this place if you are looking for good basic Indian food. Naan is really good. They also have a huge assortment of sweets in display cases. I didn't try them however they looked yummy and impressive. Also, most patrons were Indian so that's always a good sign.
