I have actually had a meal in this Swiss Chalet after the renovations the meal was awful waitress rude. Then I broke my own rule had a delivery which was awful the salad was old it promptly went into the bin you guys do not deserve good ratings I tried to call and complain on hold for 10 minutes I had to hang up because I had to cook a decent meal.
Was very insulted that no one came to take our order for over 15 minutes after arrival and it was NOT busy. Another waitress from another section was kind enough to notice us and took our order and said, “I don’t know where your waitress is.” When “our waitress” brought us our food she brought the wrong thing (forgot the ribs) and then brought them to us later and they were COLD. Swiss Chalet is Swiss Chalet wherever you go but this one has made some poor choices with their staff.
Most disappointing meal ever. I spent over $96.00 on a take out order for 5 people. Was told order would be ready in 15 minutes.Over an hour later, my daughter is finally getting our order. Fries were cold. Short changed on chalet sauce. Short changed on festive chocolates. Short changed on sour cream and chives and butter for baked potatoe. Short changed for butter for rolls.
Very disappointed in the service plus all the food was cold and my chicken parm was over cooked and very dry. My wife's chicken was under cooked and cold and all the fries was cold. The buns were so hard and so not edible. Very disappointed in Swiss Chalet Coubourg, ON.
Online order. Had to wait another 25 min at 3:30 pm and customer service was completely rude

We're on a group trip and we decided to stop over for a lunch at SC. The waiter was not friendly to us, we called 1 of the waiter and informed that we are ready for order and she answered "im not your waiter" wait for her she's busy". So I answered "im just letting you know." A she just throw the menu at the desk.
Arrived for dinner tonight after travelling all day. The line moved very quickly and our server took our order quickly and with at great attitude. Our drinks arrived but our food took over 30 minutes to arrive. I called the hostess to the table to follow up on the order and was treated very rudely. We were planning to leave just as our food arrived. The explanation for the delay was the volume of pick ups, deliveries and drive through orders. so dining room has less priority than drive thru.
Service was excellent. Brought us a pitcher of iced tea without us even asking. Food was speedy and delicious. Very clean atmosphere. Ribs were a bit greasy, and had a lot of extra grissle, but other than that, delicious.
The food was tasty but the service was rather rude. They seemed to want to rush us out the door. Bringing those little bowls with the lemon water to wash up almost right when we started eating. They might as well have brought us the cheque! I had just had mouth surgery so i was trying to replace french fries with mashed potatoes and they wouldnt let me which i thought was odd. It was good food though!
Never eating at this place again. I heard Management yelling from the kitchen at staff. Plus my food was cold. Server was great. Ask for a Manager never came to see what was wrong. I like Swiss chalet i guess i will have to go out of town to eat.
This was the worst service we had. They were so slow and poeple ahead of us got there food before us. They keeped telling us we were a big table (5 is really not that big) including in that 5 was a 4 year boy and it took a total of 2 hours and :45min for our dinner. We were not impressed
