Have eaten there on a few occasions the food was excellent have had many large take out orders for 30 plus people of fish and chicken with potatoes and rice cooked perfect!! Very reasonable price too.

Best chicken ever!!! And the shrimp, wow!!! Cant wait to go back

The food here is good, but the wait for take out is a bit ridicious. This is the second time on a sunday & even pre-ordering a week ahead on an order that takes 45 mins. I understand this is a busy restaurant but i will never return for that reason.

Very Authentic Traditional Portuguese Cuisine

First off I am not Portuguese, but Italian. I have eaten at this Ristorante around 8 times eating in, have eaten their take out maybe 10 times, and just recently enjoyed some of their really traditional types of foods at a stag. I am not a big poultry eater, I much prefer fish, seafood, beef, lamb, and pork, so I was surprised in how much I enjoyed their Chicken, which seems to be their biggest seller. I also really enjoyed their Grilled Seabass which I had as a take out order, it was phenomenal. Their Bacala(salt cured cod fish) is also very good. My Family comes from a part of Italy that does not eat Goat, so I couldn't resist trying it here, once I learned that is one of their specialties. It was a very different but tasty meat. I had that about a year ago eating in, and now just tried it again at a Stag, which was even better than the first time. The best meal that I have eaten there is a very Traditional stew made of Tripe, Beans, and Pigs Ears. It was awesome! If you enjoy Tripe, you will Love it. They also had this Stew at the Stag. Another food that I was surprised that they not only carried but sold a large quantity as take out, are these small 20-30 pound roasted Pigs. We Italians are accustomed to eating the Larger 300 pound Pig, mainly at Stags. This small pig was so very different. The meat was super tender, and much more lean. I still prefer the Larger Pig as it contains more fat, but the smaller one is also good. All in all this is one great place to eat, may you choose to eat in, or take out, and the Price is more than right. Enjoy

I was a little skeptical on going here after reading the comments but good thing my wife and I dont listen to everything we hear or read cause we would of missed out!! We ate in, and food was delicious and price was great as well! Definitely going back

Rumour has it that they don't answer the phone when they run out of chicken? co-workers seem to like it, so i decided to call in an order for pick up......20 minutes later, the phone is still ringing...lost customer here

i heard everyone got their chicken their so i decided to try it. their chicken to me tasted dry and reallly did not have any flavour, i also found their french fries to be extremly greasy... i would go their again but only if all the other restaurants in hamilton were busy

WoW!!! the best B.B.Q chicken I have ever tasted.

Was 4 of us that knew of the place from a few friends that recommended we go and try this chicken. All I got to say if you haven't tried it, you have no idea what your missing!!!!
