Amazing food and service ! Never a disappointment
The food is delicious, but the customer service was not so good. While their driver was very kind and gentle, the person who answers the phone lacks customer service. They had missed to deliver 2 items (appetizers) from my order... and the person made me feel as he was doing me a favour to send my 2 items, which I had paid for. He asked me a few times if I was sure I had not received the item. He went to the kitchen to confirm if the items were made or not (while on the phone with me).Horrible!!
Worst service l have ever seen
I am not familiar with arab food so i asked the waiter for his advice. He was not any help at all. What i got was beef shwarma plate . It was dry and tasteless. Two different kinds of goop that also lacked flavour and pita bread tastes like wood. The salad that came was fresh but since there is no dressing it was like snacking on grass. I left most of my food and vow never to go there again. In summery, the service was poor, the food was awful and not good value at all
Normally when I think of Shwarma, I do not consider a sit down restaurant or a full dinner in itself. So, I was a bit hesitant to try out this place for dinner on a weekend with my family! I was totally wrong! There is so much more to have than just types of shwarmas! They have a wide selection of appetizers and fresh breads - these alone are incredible and worth a visit. Food was excellent (Very fresh) and will be back for more! The service is prompt, the place is clean and well maintained.
I used to love going to Arabesque but now the restaurant is just downtrodden! The wait staff is uninterested and inattentive and the food quality leaves a lot to be desired. Yesterday I took a friend of mine out of town to this restaurant because he wanted Arabic food and I had a plastic tie from a pita packet in my salad. When I told the waiter he said "you've won a prize!" and tried to brush it off but not once did he apologize! After raising a stink at the counter about his attitude they gave me a measly 5% discount on the total tab. For me that incident was the straw that broke the camel's back. Never returning to this place.
Having visited this restaurant on several occasions, I was so looking forward to sinking my teeth into their tasty Shawarma. Service was fast and I hightailed it out to my car to unwrap and inhale my little treasure. Unfortunately, the only thing I inhaled was the cold taste of disappointment. The sandwich was cold and soggy; most likely because their was hardly any hot chicken to counteract the excessive amount of vegetables. On top of it all, it was quite bland. I physically couldn't finish my meal because the texture of the soggy bread was too much to bear. The blame is mine because I strayed from my new favourite - Mozy's in Waterloo. If you want taste at a good price - you will not be disappointed. I will try Arabesque again - I do believe in second chances.
My husband and I have been going there since They opened it really is the only place we both enjoy .. It was my birthday today I was offered Wildcraft or Bauer Kitchens, I chose this restaurant we ordered Baba Ganoush ( The best I have ever had .) Sharwama plates.. There was no beef so we had the chicken, The Bread for the Baba ganoush came cold and the fries stale, I asked for no pickle on my wrap ,I still got pickle on the wrap. The coffee was like tar needed 5 cream to make it decent... We asked for it to be fixed, it was like a hassle for them , the waitress was really trying to help but the kitchen was not interested in the end we called a Nahed Owner/ Manager and my husband spoke to him , he didnt believe us and in the end spoke to the waitress and told her to call the cops on us and so we said please do !!! We still had the food on the table we only drank the coffee and were willing to pay for this. The biggest upset is how the place has changed I have sent so many people there, We laugh at people when they say Paramount in Mississauga is better !!! What happened ??? I hope it can go back to how it was , everything used to be so fresh now it is like they got cocky and do not care, explains why they are not as busy as they used to be .
Visited on a week night for a quick bite. Ordered a variety of appetizers to share as a light meal. The food was up and out within minutes, but the service never felt rushed. Just friendly, attentive and prompt. Terrific food all around. I would go back for the fresh pitas and the hummos alone...and I intend to. The only issue was as the sun set it was blinding to nearly half the guests in the dining room. Perhaps some new shades or blinds are in order. At least the lack of vision is perfectly paired and complemented by some of the best Lebanese food I have had. Period. Looking forward to visiting again and trying some more items on the extensive menu. Definitely go.
We always visit late at night, and even then the food is so fresh! We definitely feel like we get our money's worth and that's what always has us returning. The quantity of the meals are a reasonable size and you won't leave hungry. My favourite is probably the hummus because of it's smooth consistency. After having middle eastern cuisine in many restaurants, I have to say that Arabesque is byfar one of the better restaurants whom serve quality food. The only bit of criticism I have is the atmosphere, which is often dominated by very loud music. Takes away from a family dining restaurant, but the interior is very well renovated otherwise.
We have only been there for lunches, but it has always been a great experience. Shawarmas flavorful, salads plentiful, the lentil soup amazing, and their breads are so fresh and warm. The staff are very friendly, and quick which is great for lunch from work. And the guy i assume is the owner takes the time to approach us to ask how things are going. i definitely recommend this restaurant to others.
Twice a month and sometimes once a week we get our fill of the Chicken Shawarma Plate, the Moe Plate, Hummos and Pita Bread and always top it off with one of the desserts - Harissa, Baklava or Attaf. The tabouleh and fatoush salads are favourite side dishes. Definitely a burst of flavour every bite.
Didn't like the politically charged map of Israel, why he infects a restaurant with a cheap shot at israel is beyond me.....the food was ok, but not that great considering it markets itself as a mid eastern cuisine. There is way better in town. The service was slow and the girls who work there are more interested in hanging out than working. The Owner was a nice guy though.
What a great experience. The food was fresh and tasty and the service was great. There's only so much you can do with an old Pizza Hut building, but the overall effect was quite nice. I would single out the pita bread and hummus as great. I've never had fresh pita bread hot from the kitchen, and it was fantastic. It's probably spolit me for all other pita breads. We'll definitely be back!
Very good ! Would definitely return. Very fresh tasting. We just had take out, but would definitely return to eat in. Best lebanese I've had in a long time.
Don't bother with half chicken (chicken tekka) becase it is more like half a chicken cut in half again lengthwise and then run over by a car. Dry and mostly bone. Great flavour though. Hummos was watery. tabouli salad was fabulous. Fresh pitas were made by real bakers. Service left something to be desired though it was prompt. The whole restauant lacks acoustic dampening. Conversations can be heard from across the room. Benches around the perimeter are covered in clear plactic. Very unpleasant to sit on and contribute to transmitting noises.
