I can't understand how anyone can not like this place, or go in to expect 'fine dining' as one reviewer described. If you want a good no-frills breakfast I can't think of a better place to go in London. I've been a patron of this place for close to 4 years now and it's always been great. I rarely order from the lunch menu but anything on the breakfast menu is so decent and down to earth that it's really hard to hate. The spices on the home fries really do it for me too. Service is usually always great (at least with the server we see the most, Catherine/Catty I think her name is?) She really makes us welcome every time. I've never had any of the other problems other people have reported (charging tip without notice, mice?) The place is a slightly different place though at night when the servers and staff are different - sometimes service can be slow and inattentive.
I live down the street from christina's and go there all the time. I love the breakfast because its delicious, comes fast and i always get plenty of great coffee. The home fries are amazing. The staff are all super nice and the atmosphere is relaxed and quiet. Best frequented with friends but when you go alone its still enjoyable because there is a tv always tuned to the news or the game and there are usually newspapers to read.
The waitress was obnoxious. the food was gross. This place served wonder bread hamburger buns and charged over 10 bucks for it. Also I saw a mouse. It was the worst experience of my life.
Great food, great group of people, amazing night for karaoke. I'll be back!
christina's -- WHOOT WHOOT! great little university diner. terrible service; but, when you're constantly dealing with drunk students on the rail of poverty there probably isn't much incentive. food is moderately enjoyable. Go UWO & King's
worst service i ever had, i had to ask for cutlery, my side order of bacon, reorder a friends water, and more the food was still great, and we did get everything we asked for it's great and cute...and fast service, but don't expect it to be "fine dining"
i lived across from christina's pub in second year and frequented it alot. although the service is never that great the food usually tastes okay, but not spectacular. an okay place to go if you're just hungry and need to eat somewhere sitting down.
Worst waitress I ever had and the food wasn't tasty at all. Why go there when I make better tasting food at home?
