Mauvais service et nourriture médiocre. Ne conseil pas, !
I have a family of 6, we brought our 10 year old daughter here on December 27th for her Birthday. on their website it says: "We want to wish you a happy birthday from the Copa family by offering a complimentary dinner. Gather your friends and celebrate with us. Just show us your ID. and enjoy. Birthday must be on the same day as the dinner. Only valid for groups of four(adults) or more.. Cannot be combined with any other promotion. Does not cover tax and gratuity" However, this was not the c
Food is ALWAYS excellent, the staff is friendly, and and courteous I have been several times, and each time is just as good as the first
Having been to Receife, Brazil @ The Rodeo Brazilian Steakhouse, Copa Cabana has perfectly captured the Brazilian experience. My husband and I are local to Niagara Falls, so go AT LEAST once a year for our Anniversary on August 30th for sure.
Poor service, food had poor flavoring, waited for a while to get meat cooked, extremely ill at night from the food... the dancers was the highlight of the night
Staff are excellent and friendly. Very good service bring your appetite and the value is there. We've paid a lot more for less. They pay attention to your tastes. If you haven't tried a Brazilian style steak house this is the one to try. We have been there 5 x
Once we paid our $900 dinner bill a random waitress came and said ina rude tone " You guys have 5 mins before you have to leave " . We knew there was a 2 hour limit. They tell u on the phone. One of the carvers got meat all over my gf brand new white pants. The birthday desert was 3 timbits with whipped cream lol $75 per person and that's the birthday boys desert lmao. Our experience was great because of our people there. other than that this restaurant is not bad . i guess
we were a party of 4 there on a long weekend, prices were over inflated, busy and on top of bill they charged me a DMF tax check you bill before you pay
I felt like we were placed at the front door, we waiting for our seats to be ready, and what do you know, they were right where we were waiting... Food was ok, but I found it took them a long time for different meats to come, I was done all my salads before they even got to our table. I only saw the waitress for drinks maybe twice. The worst part was at the end with our bills. first off they wouldn't split them into couples, no matter what... which I can understand for large groups, but she added me to two different bills, and it must have taken her (no lie) 45 minutes to get it right., Half the party had left because they were sick of waiting. Very frustrating visit.
The meat options are awesome and numerous. There is a cold buffet for things like side salads, breads and veggies. Our server drink was attentive and most of the meat servers were nice however occasionally there was one here and there with an attitude. We didn't feel rushed although it was a mid-week visit.
We had our meal on the patio by the grill and had first cut from most of the meat and pineapple servings. The food was delicious and the steady stream of meat offerings provided a great variety. Eating at this pace makes it tempting to overeat, but, you want to try every offering that comes out! Service was mostly attentive. The servers pretty much ignore the cool down sign on your table when you have had enough as they seem to know when you really want more!
I made a reservation here for my boyfriend's birthday and was sorely disappointed. We arrived only to be told that they had closed hours ago, and "tried to call" to let us know. The hostess was rude, although she did give us a $50 gift certificate, my boyfriend and I agreed it should have been an amount to cover the cost of 2 meals. We ended up having an amazing meal at the Keg just across the road, which happens to overlook the falls.
UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!!!!! BEST RESTAURANT HANDS DOWN. GREAT FOOD, GREAT SERVICE, GREAT ATMOSPHERE. MEATS ARE UNREAL, MY FAVORITE BEEF RIBS ,CHEESE STUFFED PRIME RIB. BEEN HERE MANY TIMES AND HAS BEEN CONSISTENTLY GREAT. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK COPACABANA.
Sometimes it's good, sometimes it's not. The first time I went I thoroughly loved it, the meat was amazing the atmosphere and band were amazing, service was good.....but the last time I went it was the WORST DINING EXPERIENCE EVER!!! After waiting 1 hour and 15 minutes and then told the wait would be 1 more hour or they could seat my family of 4 were in a makeshift dining area (made to accommodate their growing clientele) which was fine, but WITH A BACHELOR PARTY!!!!!!! the group of about 50 men were loud at the beginning which didn't bother us, I'm all for celebrating and a party atmosphere but as time passed they got more intoxicated and more obnoxious, it was bad...they should have had their party in a PRIVATE room not a restaurant and Copacabana should not have seated a family of 4 next to these men who clearly didn't care they were in a restaurant with other patrons who were also annoyed. As each visit passes the experience has become more and more disappointing. Wait times are not even close to what they say, sometimes the meat is close to 'raw' and the floors are dirty with food. It's clear to me management has gone completely downhill since my first visit about 6 years ago, and is in serious need of restructuring, as the restaurant has gotten extremely busy. My husband and I own several retail businesses in the GTA and value our clients opinions and feed back, Copacabana should do the same. I have had more disappointing visits than good and my family and I have decided to not return!!
This place is great. I loved everything about the building, where it was in the fall just overall a great place to try. The start off they say you don’t need reservations in the winter, but it still gets busy and I suggest that you make them. I unfortunately didn’t, but it wasn’t that bad we went to the bar off to the side and was able to get a beer and watch the live band they had playing there. It is a great environment to be in everything seemed up beat and put me into a good mood. The food there is to die for some of the best cuts of meat I had, and there is not just a couple to choose from, there were 17 different kinds, the salad bar was just as good. I have been there twice now and both times were just as great. I would recommend this place to anyone who enjoys meat as you will be pleased, and have a great time at this restaurant. Through word of mouth I have already told many friends they need to check out the place and they have done so with the same outcome that I got. They loved it. 10 out of 10 in my books. Check it out!
I would have to say that Copacabana is definitely a meat lover’s paradise and offers the best tasting meats that I have ever had. I wanted to go out and try something different with my girlfriend, and a friend of mine had been here a few times before. Hard to believe now that I have never dined here before knowing that it is only a 15 minute drive away! Well, my friend loved the food but did not love the price, but it was going to be for our anniversary. When we got there, we were seated right away, even though it was Friday and very busy. Our waitress explained to us how the meat was served because we were new to it. We were given a card that had ‘Heat It Up’, and ‘Cool it down’ on it. Basically, you eat your main meal and then when you want dessert you turn the card over to ‘Cool It Down’. Before we got to that part, we first went over to the self serve buffet. The buffet had salads, seafood, pasta and vegetables. I would advise you to not eat too much of the buffet and to save as much room as possible for the main course. The waiters roamed around and hand carved a large variety of mouth-watering meats. We had turkey breast wrapped in bacon, peppercorn steak, filet mignon wrapped in smoked bacon, prime rib, tri-tip steak, braised beef ribs, herb marinated pork loin and a few others. When we cooled it down, the waiters brought out a very delicious cinnamon baked pineapple and some deep fried bananas. I was very satisfied with both the service and food. The dinner came to about $130 including a few drinks. I would definitely recommend trying this Brazilian steakhouse because as you can tell I was amazed with the food quality and the classiness of the restaurant. I will be returning soon!
This place is awesome. $37 per person and it's worth every penny.
We went here on our honeymoon on the recommendation of a coworker. Turns out she meant another place but we didn't care, because this was insane! The meat is incredible. Like - you just never want it to stop/lick the plate clean incredible. The slices of grilled pineapple are so refreshing, and the surprises of warm cornbread muffins and deep fried bananas just added to it. The night we went there was 2 types of chicken, parmesan crusted filet mignon, prime rib stuffed with cheese, 3 kinds of flank steak, 3 kinds of top sirloin, beef ribs, pork ribs, salmon, and lamb. Incredible!
This place looks cool from the outside and inside it has more of a romantic feel. Especially at the back of the restaurant. Everyone eats the same thing here...there is no menu. So either you like meat or you don't eat. For $40/person, you kind of get what you pay for. People come around and give you tiny slivers of meat and first you think "hey, what a rip off!" but then comes more slivers of meat, and more slivers of meat, and more and more. You will definitely end up walking out of there full. Don't even bother with the salad bar.
Copa, Copacabana!! This was quit possibly the best restaurant I have ever been to in my entire life!!!!! I am not usually the type to post reviews and share my experiences, however this time I felt it was completely necessary, especially after reading some of the other shady reviews. A group of 13 of us were staying at the sheraton. We, had made a reservation a week before, as the restaurant is always busy. The night before the event, they called me to confirm and to offer their complimentary limo service for pick up and drop off, something completely unexpected. Our reservation was for 8 pm, the limo showed up at 7:45.. and to our surprise, this wasn't an ordinary limo, it was a party bus!!! Everyone in my group was blown away, we jumped on, the music was great, and it was a great start to our evening. When we arrived at the restaurant the place just kept getting better. We were seated within minutes of our arrival, they explained the way the restaurant worked, which is large hunks of meat continuously coming around until you are begging them to stop, complimented by a large buffet, and we dug in right away. We had these cool "fire it up", "cool it down" cards that signaled the meat guys to come to the table. Mine was constantly on fire it up!!! Beyond the exceptional service, great entertainment, samba dancers, martial art show, and dj (who played great music), the food quality was out of this world. I have to admit, I think the buffet could have been a bit better, but the meats were AMAZING!!!!! These meats were the beast meats I have ever eaten. I have been to brazilian steakhouses before, in arizona and texas and while those places were good, and the service/style of the restaurant was great. They had nothing on COPACABANA. We had meat with cheddar, meat with parmesan, top sirloin, some spicy/sweet rub, a chimichurri steak, garlic, ribs, etc. I mean this place offered everything these other places offered, only 10 times more, and 10 times better. The staff was great as well, my server stephanie did a great job, and the meat guys made sure we got everything we wanted. There were a couple girls in the group, who didn't enjoy so many meats, and they asked for salmon. Instead of bringing a piece or two, the guys gave them practically a whole skewer of it, at least 10 pieces. As you can tell, I am really excited about the experience, and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a good night out. Copacabana rocks!!!

Samba, samba, samba and enjoy all the meat you can eat at this authentic Brazilian Rodizio with locations uptown and downtown. The lively dining room offers a full pasta and salad bar while roaming servers (or “gauchos”) visit tableside to carve over 20 unique cuts of perfectly seasoned grilled meats (the picanha is a house specialty) onto your plate. On Friday and Saturday nights, experience the flavours of Carnival as the restaurant hosts live performances from costumed Samba dancers and acrobatic Capoeira martial artists.
