Peter has a great talent for original jewellery. A great place to go for something really special and one of a kind! His new shop is and new website will be live soon!
My husband brought in my engagement ring to be enlarged. They did a terrible job, they didn't coat the ring properly because the seams were very obvious. When we brought back the ring to be finished properly, this older guy looked at the ring, told my husband that the ring was fine, tossed it at him and walked to the back. We were not rude or demanding, certainty did not deserve that response from him. I would never go there again!
I Went into the store during my lunch hour on a Thursday in December. There were 3 employees on site (one of them may have been a family member or friend). No other customers were in the store at the time. A young lady greeted me, the others were eating their lunch. I was recommended by a friend to see P J Walsh regarding old jewellery. I had the jewellery with me and the older gentleman (I'm presuming is the owner), barely got up to even acknowledge my presence. The younger employee took the jewellery to where he was sitting. I was asked why I didn't take my jewellery elsewhere and I was honest by saying I was shopping around. He had asked me what others had offered and I was reluctant to say for obvious reasons, when I asked him what he would offer, he was disgusted with me and walked back to his lunch. As a young female, bringing in my divorce jewellery, I felt judged and treated with disrespect. I was attempting to make an honest business transaction with a local jeweller and was shot down. I would not recommend this business to any of my friends, family, or strangers.
