If I could leave a 0 I would. The most horrible service. We waited almost an hour for our order to come in. They brought a wrap and everything else was wrong. We ordered ginger ale they brought grape crush and grape Fanta. We ordered a chicken platter and they brought potatoes rice and salad platter. We asked them to please call us rather than ring the doorbell because people were sleeping they rung the doorbell. When we discovered our order was wrong we called right away.1hr later 0 food ?
We were anxious to try this place based on some good reviews so we decided to order in last weekend. Overall, the only thing I was impressed with was how friendly the man who answered the phone was. After that, it was all downhill from there. We ordered a large greek chicken salad which was saturated in dressing (the dressing was tasty, but there was just way too much of it) and which had tomatoes and peppers which seemed like they'd been cut a week ago... not fresh at all! We also had a beef gyro - the tzatziki sauce was not great. - it was bland and quite runny. Overall we were quite disappointed as we were looking for a good local Greek place. Needless to say, we will keep looking!
I'm a university student who lives in the area, and my roommates and I discovered House of Greek last year. We were close enough to make use of the no tax when you pick up perk, which is great. Every once in a while we would order the sandwich party, sometimes with two people, sometimes with 6 (you save more money with more people). At the beginning of the school year last year the order was always perfect and the food was delicious. However, I'm a little disappointed because they stopped offering baklava in the sandwich party even though they still advertise it in the flyer. The last time I ordered there they completely messed up my order, giving me a chicken shawarma when I ordered a falafel pita. They fixed the order but made me come pick it up again. Point is though, the food here is absolutely delicious. It's a great take out restaurant!
I've driven by this place a few times, and finally decided to give it a shot tonight. It's a very small mom/pop-type establishment, meant for takeout/delivery so obviously atmosphere isn't the biggest deal when you're just going in to pickup the food. Located on the corner of Bank/Heron, the big blue sign is hard to miss. I went inside and was greeted by a very friendly man, I'm assuming the owner of the restaurant, who provided me with a menu and an explanation of some of the dishes I was interested in (this is only the second time ever I eat Greek). I ended up ordering the Chicken Shawarma platter, which is the Chicken Shawarma wrap, with a platter containing rice, salad and potatoes. All this for 11.25$, no tax if you pickup. I wait about 10 min for him to prepare the food, definitely not bad considering all the work that's involved in this meal. I get home, unwrap the package to find very large quantities. Warning, one platter without any extras will satisfy even the biggest appetites. I noticed he gave me a Greek salad instead of Cesar that I ordered. I've never had Greek salad before, but in the end I was actually very impressed with it, and glad I got it over the Cesar salad. The potatoes and rice were great, and the wrap was just amazing. The type of food you just can't put down till it's done. I'll definitely be returning to House of Greek to try their other dishes.

House of Greek is a go-to spot for authentic Greek cuisine. Served fresh and warm, their menu runs the gamut of the most popular dishes Greece has to offer. Here you’ll find spanakopita, dolmades, beef gyro pitas and their chicken souvlaki platter, which comes with rice, lettuce, tomatoes, potatoes, onions and tzatziki sauce.
