Capes has moves us 3 times in 25 years. Our last move was a downsizing situation. Capes came out and helped us pack. They treated our home with respect and handled our antiques with great care. They provided 8 men and 4 trucks and worked later than normal to move the expanse of furniture and garage items that we had accumulated. The owner, Craig came to our house twice to go over what was going to the new house and what was going into storage. I would recommend Capes to ANYONE.
They were on time, polite, hard working, easy to deal with. My issue was they didn't protect my furniture. Lots of little dings and damage. My 130 year old rockers that are hand carved and made, ended up with a chip out of the carved front portion of the carving. For the first time after many moves there are a lot of scrapes and wobbles in my furniture now. Protection with quilts between pieces af furniture would have prevented this. Having said all this..... The price was right?
