Excellent food, ordered for 60 people, could feed around 70. Very delicious food, for $5.00 per person very reasonable. Always request for less spice if not used to spicy food. Everyday specials are worth the effort to drive to the restaurant at Lawrence and Markham. The owners are both very accommodating. The butter chicken is excellent.

I love this place. Its not the cleanest but they get the job done in there. I have NEVER had a bad meal in this place. Last time me and my fiancee went there we got stuffed for less then $20 and I had leftovers for lunch. The kebabs are amazing and the Naan is very tasty.......
Shahi Karahi serves great Indo-Pakistani food, much of it cooked in a real tandoor oven. Tandoori chicken was well spiced and juicy. The nanan was made before our eyes and baked fresh. Great value (dinner cost about $5) a person). Downside is that this restaurant was a former donut shop and they haven't done any upgrades to the interior! Most of the customers get their food to go rather than eat at the few wobbly tables

It was my friend's birthday and I am glad I took them to Shahi Karahi. The food was so delicious and took minutes to prepare. Raw meat being prepared in a tandoor behind a glass window really allowed us to appreciate the service and speed of their staff. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone I know. Must Have Food and the best part is that they offer daily specials! Cheers.
The food was amazing. I have been to many restaurants throughout the GTA and have never tasted anything like this before. The best part was that it was all fresh food that was prepared before our eyes. The butter chicken was the reason my friends dragged me to this place, but the rest of the food is what will keep bringing me back.

we visited shahi karahi restaurant for dinner but we had to wait atleast 30 inutes to get seats bcoz resteurant was very busy . food was amazing just remind us real lahori taste and above all prices are very low. love to go again
Food was superb, the butter chicken was almost too good, service was slightly above average, non serving staff were not that friendly but other than that this place was pleasant and delicious.
First of all I find it quite dirty at this restaurant. The food is good but the biryani...OH MY GOSH...They have really lowered the quality of it..it is just plain rice with chicken curry..you can actually taste the plain rice..which is nasty..its not real biryani..Just to save a few bucks on making real biryani they have lowered their quality, NOT GOOD!!!
I used to be a frequent visotor to SK but recently they have started behaving a bit arrogant. Oen example: the ya dvertise daily specials but when we went to buy them, the lady rudely informs that we should have called ahead and placed an order! Ridiculous! Nowhere have I seen a procedure where one needs to call in advance and 'reserve' for a daily special takeout. Wont be going there until I really need to.
