First impressions here are this is your classic local greasy diner, which can be a good choice at times. In reality, the menu choices are quite varied, and choosing your meal is not an easy choice. The club house is a classic choice and it did not disappoint. Price of $38 (including tip) for 3 people with appetizers and dessert for some was great value. The "fly in the salad" thing happens, but I thought more could have been done for the affected party member than simply not charging for the salad (perhaps free dessert or drinks).
