Trio Ristorante And Pizzeria welcomes you to their restaurant. Come sit on their terrace under the sun. They are open late from Tuesday to Sunday. You can get there by public transit. They are in a location recognized for its green spaces.
Trio Ristorante & Pizzeria was one of the first restaurants in the city to start preparing its pizzas in true Italian style in a wood-burning oven. The tradition continues today and has even earned the restaurant top prize in a pizza contest. “There was as a sort of unofficial pizza war in Toronto a few years back,” recalls co-proprietor Eduardo Beccati with a smile. “The National Post stepped in to give its opinion on what the best local pizza was. We won.”
“We” meaning Eduardo and his partner, both chefs from Italy who worked their ways up the old fashioned way: from dishwashing to running their own restaurants. You can find all classic Italian dishes here in a menu that has something for everyone, including kids. Pizza, pasta, seafood and meat dishes are served up with the types of sauces and garnishes only a true Italian chef could dream up and create.
To surprise customers, Eduardo also offers specials each day that depart from tradition and veer towards Italian fusion so there’s always something new. Salute!
We brought our kids for an evening out and had a fabulous time! Pizza was good and the waiter recommended a very good bottle of wine. Great neighbourhood restaurant - will definitely be going back
