well that's it. Seems like they justget worse all the time. The latte was so bitter it was undrinkable- the Belgian waffle was about as skimpy as we've ever seen. Hardly any ice cream, no caramel to be found and a bare spoonful of strawberry topping. Dry waffle simply doesn't cut it!
Well, we went back again tonight for an after dinner latte and dessert. Wish we had not. Their desserts are overpriced and the portions seem to get smaller all the time. The noise in there is louder than any bar you might wish to visit. Enjoy a dinner there? You can't even hear yourself talk over the noise. As for finding a seat - Try to find a place to sit and eat when most of the tables are filled with people who have no food or coffee in front of them - only laptops, surfing for free on the WIFI, or simply sitting back reading a book and taking up space. It's pathetic when paying customers have to leave because there are no tables. To make matters worse we waited more than 25 minutes for one latte and one Belgian waffle to share. I wanted to cancel the order and leave but my companion wanted to wait it out. It isn't like they had to cook it from scratch... It was a dessert and coffee, and we watched another table that came in quite a bit after us get their orders first. I really doubt we can be tempted to go back again..
The food was all right for the price. Not the best breakfast around though. Service was pretty fast, but waitress only came to serve the food and when we wanted something, had to go right up to the counter.
I enjoyed working at this location for several hours. No one harrassed me about using the table for so long and the food was tasty and healthy so I didn't feel like I'd overindulged. That is, until a young Williams representative approached me and gave me a free Belgian Waffle slathered in ice cream. I certainly couldn't eat the whole thing; but now I know a great idea for treating the kids the next time we're out!
