Meet the owner

Craving fresh and authentic Greek cuisine? Then check out Nick’s Grill in Whitby. With years of experience owning a restaurant in Greece, Nick Sourlinzas has an intimate knowledge of the flavours and techniques that make Greek food unique and delicious.

After moving to Canada in 2008, Nick wanted to open a restaurant that would provide the Whitby area with fresh and authentic Greek and Mediterranean cuisine with a Canadian flare. From this vision, Nick’s Grill was realized.

“We’re a very small restaurant,” Nick explains. “For the most part, we focus on take-out orders. However, we do have several small bistro tables set up if you would like to enjoy your meal in the restaurant.”

In addition to the eat-in and take-out options, Nick’s Grill delivers. With an online ordering system, you can have an incredible array of Greek and Mediterranean food delivered to your door in under an hour.

Pretty Good!

SImple review here: Good burgers and good souvlaki. Fries were great and the deserts were surprisingly good. A small place where the owner takes his time (not too long) and the food is good. I'll eat here again.

YOU'VE GOT TO TRY THIS PLACE

This is an awesome little family run burger/greek restaurant. You can eat inside or take it home, the wait is 5-10 minutes, the food is worth every penny of the meager price they ask. Try the homeburger, they make the patties themselves and it's worth the extra $0.75. I would recommend this place to anyone, and already have some friends and family hooked :-)

Made with love

I liked the souvlaki and found the tzatziki quite nice, if a little on the mild side. Nick spends a LOT of time preparing the souvlaki and I found it to be assembled with a great deal of care. Nick is proud of his food, and that's a comforting feeling. I also found the French Fries to be exceptional! Great Fries Nick! The owners are very nice too! I'll be samping the souvlaki again, and some day I hope to work up the nerve to try the heart-attack burger.

Tasteless and Forgettable

I have been to Nick's Place twice now. Both times, I ordered the souvlaki, as the owners are all about being Greek, and having lived in Greece. Well let me tell you, I have been to Greece, and their food is no representation of that country. Souvlaki on a pita is totally TASTELESS!. I am pretty sure that they do not marinate their meat (crucial). Their Tsatsiki sauce does not help either. Very bland. If you are going to promote Greek, produce food that tastes Greek
