    Lunch

Food is great and fast, they don't really come around often but always great and friendly service. I often come here to have lunch and never disappointed.

    Never Disappointed

I've been going for months now, and always leave happy. I've tried other things on the menu, but I keep coming back to the pad thai... it's the reason I go! Obviously English is not a strong suit with the waitstaff, but they can understand the basics and you can write down which meal # you want, so it's never a problem.

    Just OK!

After reading the good reviews, we decided to visit the restaurant since we were in Windsor. The outside could use some more appeal. Pho was ok--had better. Typical Asian customer service, no greeting, just go where you want to sit. No water was offered or served as noted in other previous reviews. Also no other contact from waitress after we received our order. We learned from the reviews to just go up and pay our bill when ready. We were told "no credit card" accepted, except for Canadian debit cards. So experience was quite impersonal.

    Vietnamese soup for you!

Big bowl, lots of beef. Hot, fresh and served quickly. Don't forget to add your own bean sprouts and mint leaves that are served separately. Friendly staff. Out of town guests were very satisfied with this choice.

    Really Delicious!

Fresh, delicous food at an amazingly low price. How can you go wrong? I love their milk shakes. We eat there every three weeks. It's so nice to find a place with healthy food that's tasty. I tried my boyfriend's grilled beef and was blown away at how flavourful it was. I've always found the service prompt and friendly. Afterthought: I just tried another (so called) Vietnamese restaurant that has been highly praised on this web-site and it was awful. If you want the best, fresh, tasty Vietnamese food Pho Xic-Lo is the way to go. I love their food.

    Good family owned place

Were starting to become regulars here. I come on weekeday afternoons so Ive never been here when its busy, last time the owner's cute little kids (who were extremely well behaved by the way) were the only other people there, doing homework or something. Relaxed atmosphere, they make you feel at home. It is very clean and I love the food. it is a reletively healthy meal and filling. If you have never tried Pho this is the place to try it, also the coconut milkshake is amazing, I get one everytime

    Meh..

The only item on the menu (besides drinks) are the phos...I had the rice vermicelli combo and it was horrible. My friend had some food which consisted of grilled beef, and that was horrible too. Their grilled beef is really chewy and the flavour is off. I don't bother to eat anything but the pho, ever. Avocado shake was good though. I would not come back again (unless I want the pho). Prices are decent.

i don't know why but i think Pho tastes the same in any restaurant i've ever tried. so this place, like every other Vietnamese restaurant i've been to, is decent. Pho Dac Biet (rice noodles in beef broth with rare beef, beef balls, tripe and beef tendon) in Large is very filling and fits the bill very well when the weather outside is frightful. my boyfriend always orders their spring rolls. Bun Bo Hue (vermicelli noodles in spicy beef broth) is a bit more memorable. i've also tried their pad thai, which i enjoyed. i believe i tried their seafood noodles (not in soup) and it wasn't very good (skimpy on the seafood) so i don't recommend it. their fish sauce is mainly sweet and very forgettable (like all Viet restaurants). i tried their coconut milkshake and thought it was too sweet. i wish they would introduce strawberry milkshakes since the only other option for me is the avocado milkshake. the decor of the restaurant is nice and somewhat modern. i dislike their use of different coloured chopsticks though. i think they should also introduce a small and thin banh mi bi (Viet sub with pickled veggies) since it's a favourite of mine. overall, a decent Viet restaurant.
