We have established a perfect balance of lunch and dinner with a variety of pleasent and delicious meals. The ambience at our restaurant creates a calm and relaxed at mosphere.
Don't expect more than fast food quality at this establishment. To begin with it's on the second floor and there are a lot of stairs. The portions are small for the price and the ingredients are questionable. My partner's eyes puffed out overnight, which is our test for over-use of fillers and/or preservatives. We took food home and opening the containers the next day was a shock. Just a pool of gelatinous mess. Just what do these people add to their recipes I have no idea.
First of all this is not an Indian Restaurant it is a Bangladeshi restaurant.
Horrible ambience and for the taste of food you are much better off buying frozen Indian food from a grocery store.
The food was extremely bad and to top it all the service was horrible. Eating at such joints I feel there should be some authority to govern the price of food To quality of restaurnat and If there was any such authority I am sure this restaurant would shut down the next day.
SAVE YOUR MONEY AND EAT SOMEWHERE ELSE.
A little more than a month ago I came to Kashmir...
A little more than a month ago I came to Kashmir with a few of my colleagues. It was a Friday night and we decided to celebrate there the end of the week at work. I won’t start to describe the dishes that we ordered, like some people did, I will simply say that the food was great, the ambience excellent and the service prompt. Also that’s a nice place to meet people, anyways that what’s happened to me, I met someone very special when I went downstairs for a smoke ;)
I chose Kashmir to celebrate my birthday this year and I was very pleased with my choice. I had around 18 guests and we were seated in the room where we had a chance to contemplate this simply amazing view on the Old Port. The service was fast and done in a professional manner. The food was really really amazing… But the most surprising thing is that since it was my birthday I got a gift certificate from the owner for an amount of 20$, the sum that covered the price of my meal, so basically I had a free dinner. :) This warm and friendly atmosphere and outstanding customer service left with the desire to come back to this authentic Indian restaurant!
My girlfriend and I went for a walk in the Old Montreal and when it was time for dinner we came across this Indian resto - Kashmir. We have never been in this place before, but we decided to try it since the menu posted outside looked impressive. It was a Thursday night, and just imagine our surprise when we get inside and learn that on Thursdays they have this 2 for 1 special!! We had a really great time, excellent and delicious food as well as a gorgeous view on the Old Port. And since by buying one dish you get the second one for free, we also took a bottle of wine. We took Trapiche Pinot Noir and it went very well with Tandoori Chicken and Lamb Tikka. Moreover, the portions are so generous that we were able to take some food home. Well, we have definitely added this place to the list of our favorite places!
