Pearl Diver Restaurant is open and ready for Torontonians to get their feet wet. Serving an incredible new dinner menu 7 days a week and lunch Monday to Friday, a new concept, food philosophy and craft bar have re-emerged to complement the already world-renowned Raw Bar.
Pearl Diver, a rebirth of Starfish Oyster House, is serving up one of the most extensive selections of oysters in the city. The menu always has options from both coasts and some European varieties. Diners can also expect seafood favourites like fish and chips, and surf and turf.
With a name like Pearl Diver, you can expect one of the best selections of oysters in the city. The restaurant uses local oysters as well a selection from the United States. On Thursday nights, it’s 100 oysters for $100 from 6 pm until 9 pm.
Food and Wine veterans know all about the must-try oysters on offer at the festival each year, and we’re especially keen on the New Brunswick Shemogue oysters brought in by Pearl Diver. The Entertainment District seafood house is a neighbourhood go-to for fine fish dishes (from pan-seared pickerel to made-just-right moules frites). The spot also brings their chicken and oyster pâté for more daring samplers.
