With a nice selection of craft beers and ciders on tap, as well as a phenomenal food menu and a stellar patio, The Parlour has helped make Yaletown a Vancouver food destination. Beers all come in 20 oz. full pints and 10 oz. halves, and they offer a good selection from numerous local and regional craft brewers, along with international labels by the bottle.
One of the few brew pubs in the downtown area, Yaletown Brewing Co. has been serving its own house-brewed beer to locals for more than 20 years. Located in the heart of the restaurant district, the pub is the perfect place for corporate events, intimate gatherings or for cheering on the Canucks. With an excellent line of seasonal brews and rotating guest taps, this local haunt offers beer lovers no shortage of pints from which to choose.
This heritage building was revived following a series of renovation efforts. When Homer St. Café opened, it quickly became a neighbourhood hot spot for those looking for yummy meals in a more upscale setting. Despite their fine-dining approach, the atmosphere still remains casual. They also offer a small, but excellent selection of regional crafts on tap and in bottles.
What goes better with tacos other than beer? Okay, maybe tequila, but down at Patron Tacos, they’ve got you covered on both fronts. Along with a well-rounded selection of premium tequilas, they also carry a range of beers for all palettes. While they do have a couple local beers, they have a nice array of Mexican favourites from which to choose, all available by the bottle.
