I love my spanish empanadas, but these Jamaican Beef empanadas or "Patties"..so they call them are extremely delicious...nice and spicy, the way i like it..
i tried beef and seafood patties and i had to drive back to buy 6 of each for my family to try.
i wish they had a "PATTY TIME" store in las vegas.
i cannot wait to revisit toronto again just for this food.

Excellent food made by people who care. The Chicken Roti is excellent. Spiced just right, and a good sized portions. The meal is fresh, made to order and the service friendly. My kids are now big fans of Caribbean food. The Doubles are also very good. The Jerk Chicken and Ox Tails are delicious. My family and I get take out here about once every three weeks. We've had excellent experiences with the food both times we have had it. Once was take-out and last night we dined in!
This type of food is relatively new to me, but it's definitely something that my wife and I have enjoyed discovering!
The service was a bit on the slow side but then again, we were surprised with how busy the place was on a Sunday night! That must say something about how good the food is! Once we got our food, we enjoyed it thoroughly.
The inside was much nicer than I expected looking from the outside and the portions were large enough that my wife and I both had leftovers for lunch!
I'd recommend this place to anybody!

I just moved into the area in Aug 2017 and saw there $4.99 lunch special, decided to see what was on offer and I was pleasantly surprises with the selection. Order 2 curry chicken dishes and took it home. Food was excellent, tasty, fresh and just plain delicious! My husband enjoyed it so much we have decided to go again tonight! Serve was pleasant too, and I was met with a smile. Just try it and you will like it for sure! It's now my new go too when we need a treat!

Great food; really interesting atmosphere. Spectacular drinks! The seats on the outside patio are tree stumps. There's live music too on some days. The menus come on a vinyl record. And I had pretty good service too. No lingering waiters but I saw them pretty often during the night. It's one of the few cozy getaways left in Toronto.
