I'm thinking a competitor wrote the review Small and Thin. Why else would they say they aren't good? I have been going there for years and they have the best fish and chips I have ever eaten. If they aren't a competitor, they should go back and try them again. They don't know what the're missing.

Decided to have dinner with my mom, sistet and 16months old neice as my mom was celebrating her birthday. Server had a poor attitude, was not pleasant nor engaging. All she did was take orders and not even efficiently; she did not even apologise about bring us the wronf order, she never came back to check in as the other servers did with their guests. She never even tried to upsell for dessert or offer any tips on what she thought was a good drink. She provided less than basic service. poor poor

We have ate there many times and never had a problem. Excellent food and service. As we have been staying home and only eating from home during the quarantine, we miss our bi monthly meals at Halibut House. I came to this restaurant for my father's birthday and the food was incredible. It is an authetic portuguese restaurant on James street in Hamilton. For an appetizer we had the Bruchetta, which is baked pizza style bread topped with tomato, onion and garlic. Yumm! For the dish I ate the Filete com arroz, which is fish filete with seafood rice. The dish cost $17 but was really cheap considering the amount of food that was provided. I will definetely return to this restaurant and recommend anyone to try this place. They have a large menu with many options. If you havent tried portuguese food or just love the food, you wont be disappointed at the Wild Orchid.

I enjoy many dishes from this place and I go all the time. I can't tell you how amazed at how delicious the food is here. Wow!!!
It's a take out restaurant but it's just the best. So, so, so filling. And the price, I can't believe the prices. Anyways if you just want to chill and you're in the neighborhood of Bay and King Street West hit up Famous Recipe. I generally get the chicken Roti and he makes it as mild or as spicy as I want depending on my mood.

The seafood dishes are the best I have ever tasted, hands down.
Everything is made with passion. It is really hard to find that these days.
And of course the chicken is always a staple, I prefer rotisserie, but they have grilled chicken to which seems to be really popular.
Always call in your order though as this place can get really busy Fridays - Sundays.
Its no wonder I've seen Mayor Hazel pop in there so often, it really is the best value in Mississauga.
