Not sure about the other reviewer, but after reading this review, I had to register and give an opinion on one of our favorite little take out places we know. We visit our cottage regularly about 2 kms from this "super" Chip Wagon, mostly in the summer months, and have many local friends who all rave about the food at George's (from what we understand, it's not the owner's name). The ice cream is great, and we order it EVERY time - judging by all the tall white ice cream bins and the ice cream menu sign out front, Reid's dairy is the supplier from Belleville. The burgers and fresh cut fries are fantastic, I'm not a fish lover, but our friends order their halibut fish & chips EVERY time we go. As for locals, our local friends said this place has been there for like 10-15 or more years, some of them claim to have gained weight from eating there so often, so have to disagree with the local opinion comments - though I guess any time you go to a small town, opinions will may vary! In our family opinion, it's a lovely place to eat, great atmosphere on the way to the local beaches and cottages, on a nice summer weekend. We would and have, recommended to anyone we know! I'm a university student who lives in the area, and my roommates and I discovered House of Greek last year. We were close enough to make use of the no tax when you pick up perk, which is great. Every once in a while we would order the sandwich party, sometimes with two people, sometimes with 6 (you save more money with more people). At the beginning of the school year last year the order was always perfect and the food was delicious. However, I'm a little disappointed because they stopped offering baklava in the sandwich party even though they still advertise it in the flyer. The last time I ordered there they completely messed up my order, giving me a chicken shawarma when I ordered a falafel pita. They fixed the order but made me come pick it up again. Point is though, the food here is absolutely delicious. It's a great take out restaurant! Read more

Went here for my birthday dinner with the family and I have to say it was an amazing meal! We all ordered different items off the menu and I think the staff thought we were crazy because we were trying each other's food, but I have everything was so tasty! The vegetarian main had many different elements to it and all were delicious, the mushroom tarte, steak frites and soup were great. Our waiter was very friendly and overall I would say the atmosphere is inviting. I consider this restaurant a little bit pricey, but perfect for a special occasion and worth the money. Read more
