Beer, sausages and lederhosen can only mean one thing – it’s Oktoberfest! Toronto restaurants, bars and breweries are all celebrating this year in their own unique way, whether it’s sausage and beer pairings or transforming into an authentic German beer hall. Gladstone Hotel Oktoberfest
Gladstone Hotel hosts Oktoberfest for the ages this year. The Melody Bar transforms into an old fashion German beer hall! There will be tastings, Mill St. Organic steins and karaoke.
Toronto Oktoberfest
Toronto’s very own Oktoberfest is promising to be bigger than ever this year. The two-day festival offers an authentic Bavarian experience with communal tables, polka music and lederhosen! ERDINGER Weiss serves up an exclusive brew, made specifically for Toronto’s Oktoberfest. There’s also a Porshe Car Show in the Saturday afternoon session. The first 750 guests receive authentic German glass beer steins!
Otto’s Oktoberfest
It’s safe to say that Otto’s Bierhalle celebrates Oktoberfest all year-round, but they’re making an extra effort this year, with a week-long celebration! Festivities include a large selection of Oktoberfest beers from German and local breweries, and loads of dinner platter specials. There will also be DJ’s spinning funk, disco and soul.
Oktoberfest Batch
The micro-brewery celebrates Oktoberfest the only way it knows how: with beer and Bavarian cuisine. There will be Oktoberfest brews, music, games, and of course, lederhosen! Registration is mandatory.
Oktoberfest at Dominion
Dominion Pub and Kitchen hosts a collaborative event with Henderson Brewing. Henderson showcases its special Oktoberfest brew alongside Dominion’s classic pub fare. Located in Corktown, Dominion Pub and Kitchen is known for its massive selection of craft beers.
Octo-berfest at Ripley’s Aquarium
Ripley’s Aquarium is getting in on the Oktoberfest celebrations with its eight tentacled creatures! Octo-berfest see’s brews from nine local breweries, which include Steam Whistle, Beau’s, Railway City, Collective Arts, Flying Money and more. Pretzels and sausages are on the menu, as well as a lesson in how to drink beer upside down from Mr. Oktoberfest (George Kash) himself!
Amsterdam Oktoberfest
Amsterdam Brewhouse hosts the ultimate Oktoberfest! The week and a half-long fest celebrates all things Bavarian with an authentic menu, limited edition beers and live entertainment every Friday!
Mill Street Oktoberfest
Mill Street hosts its fifth annual Oktoberfest! Join the party, where there will be 18 beers on tap, including the popular Nigthtmare Pumpkin Ale and the signature Oktoberfest beer. You can also try a special Bavarian menu! Tickets include three beer tokens and a souvenir mug.
Kitchener Waterloo Oktoberfest
The big Oktoberfest party takes over Kitchener Waterloo region. A tradition for many Canadians, this Oktoberfest is the biggest and oldest event of its kind here. Many breweries across the country take part, as well as restaurants throughout the two cities. There will also be live music, family friendly activities and more.
Vegan Oktoberfest
Vegans can get on the Oktoberfest action this year at the Lithuanian Community House! Renowned chef Doug McNish creates a one-of-a-kind Oktoberfest themed dinner that is completely vegan! There will also be a Sundae-Cake bar, gluten-free pretzels and the choice between beer or a signature seasonal Kombucha cocktail!
