A Sunday rarely passes that you won’t find Ramon Miranda, Kelsey Roos, Juanita Roos and [husband] gathering over a sumptuous meal and at least one or two bottles of wine. In addition to being partners in the wine and spirits boutique Color de Vino, they are also family — and that’s the same experience they want to extend to customers.
Mixing business and family can be a risky proposition but this family come by their trade honestly. Their shared passion for wine was what brought them together.
Ramon and Juanita are both trained sommeliers who met on a seminar. Through Juanita, Ramon met his wife, Kelsey, Juanita’s daughter. When the family launched Color de Vino in fall of 2014, Ramon and Kelsey had also just become parents for the first time.
