I’m just in town for a few days and wanted to get my dog groomed. They were able to fit us in with in short notice and the price was just right. The staff was friendly and professional and did a great job with my dog. He’s not the easiest to deal with but they said he did great. Thanks again and if I’m ever back in this area I will not hesitate to bring him back in.

My dog needed a cut due to the recent hot weather so I called her normal groomer who couldn't fit her in for over a week so I looked up groomers and found this one, when I called I got an answering machine but I was called back very quickly and they managed to fit my girl in the very next day and she looks WONDERFUL ! Thank you I will be back!
I recently moved to Vernon and was referred to "It's Bath Time" from a friend. My dog is a small lhasa apso who has had issues with other groomers in the past + she's my fur baby, so I like to make sure she is always looking her best. I had a wonderful experience with Charline and her team and my dog received one of the best grooms she has had to date. From asking me to bring in a picture of what I considered a great haircut, to spending some extra time working with my dog (who hates to have her front paws done), I picked her up and she was totally relaxed! My dog will be going back to see Charline and I am so happy to have found such a wonderful groomer in the area. I totally recommend!
I would also like to mention, in response to another review that was posted here...I was about 15 minutes late for my appointment due to weather up at Silver Star where I live, I called and left a voicemail as soon as I knew I was going to be late and had no issues with any attitude, like this other review mentioned.
Our beloved chow chow Tarmac can be very finicky. Charline the business owner and operator is not afraid of agressive breeds and/or large dogs. She is very qualified. She gives extra attention to detail and addresses all the needs of the pet. We have Tarmac in every 2 weeks. Charline is always on time. She is the best we have found in Vernon. She always states that if a dog "nips" her, it's because of something she has done, or the dog is letting her know of delicate areas. She states it is "not the dogs fault" because they do not know any other way to communicate. She is gentle with Tarmac, doesn't over clip him (which was done in the past at other Vernon Groomers)plus she isn't phone trigger happy to call "dog control" if your beloved animal does have a "temper tantrum day". I love It's Bath time dog grooming. Three tries and we have finally found the best groomer @ Vernon B.C. As long as she will keep us, Tarmac has his favorite groomer for life. Her prices are terrific, and she warrants a tip everytime. Charline has excellent communication skills, she keeps her shop clean, and doesn't have tons of dogs in at the same time, which makes it alot more personal for the owner as well as the dog, as their is alot less chance of "jealousy between dogs', with the one on one attention.
We have tried going to this groomer twice in Vernon, both times we've felt the actual grooming/shaving for our dogs was great! Its only the customer service part which has me giving this place a 2-star review.
Our poor dog has ear infections quite often, we have to clean out his ears daily and take him to the vet almost monthly for them. When we took him to get shaved the woman shaving him yanked on his ear and made him yelp quite loudly just to tell my Mom he had one The way he was flinching away from her (he is a VERY friendly and loving dog who never flinches away from anyone - even when I clean his ears nightly he doesnt flinch like that) made us think she must have maybe been too rough with his ears throughout the shave too. That was strike one.
Another time the person picking up the dogs was running a bit late, so the owner had to wait for us to come by and pick him up since it was pretty late when we had the shaving done.
First she phoned us way before the scheduled time and said the dogs were ready - we had no one available at that time since we didnt expect it to be done until the actual time we agreed on. Then she phoned my cell a few times since the person picking the dogs up was late and I apologized profusely claiming it would take just as long (in fact probably longer) for me to come since I lived half an hour out of town and that I promised the person should be there soon. She seemed alright about it on the phone, a bit impatient but that was understandable.
However she was incredibly rude when the person picked up the dog, and even for the next time we came she kept bringing it up - how she was upset she had to wait. Never coming here again, we'll take our business and our lovely dogs elsewhere from now on.
My little guy, Baby, is adopted and does not take to people easily, He went to Charline the first visit, and was jumping up on her to be picked up, when I came to take him home. On the last visit he gave her a kiss. Unheard of!
Great groomer, reasonable prices, good person
I took our giant malamute puppy (90 lbs+) in for her first grooming with Charlene, and I was amazed at how great she was with Kaya. I was pretty concerned not only because this was her first time getting groomed, and I didn't know how she would react, but also because of her size and pushiness. Not all groomers will take on a large breed-dog, but Charlene told me she has large dogs at home, and tons of experience not just grooming, but also in doggie behaviour. From the minute we walked in, she made both me and Kaya feel calm and comfortable, and when I picked up my puppy less than 2 hours later, she was beautifully groomed, and very calm (which surprised me, I expected both dog and groomer to look a bit frazzled). The price of the whole visit was very economical as well, and because it's right in the pet store, I could also pick Kaya up a new toy at the same time for being such a good girl! Looking forward to our next visit in a few months time! :)
I took our high stung Schnauzer puppy for her fisrt time grooming here. I was more worried that our puppy would be impossible to handle as our Vet's office have already red flaged her behaviour problems at only 6 months of age. Charlene was first off able to give me ideas on how to get her ready for the first grooming, when we arrived Molly was starting to act up but the goomer took her time with our Molly, moved slowly and after only a few minutes, I was able to leave her. Two hours later I got the call she was all clipped and ready to go, I could not believe my eyes, when I picked her up.She was happy and the groomer still had all her fingers, This lady takes time and really knows what is best for your dog.
