Family Ownership continues... In June of 2002, Alistair M. MacDonald and Yves P. Gauthier purchased Munro and Morris Funeral Homes of Alexandria, Maxville and Lancaster. The two Ontario licensed funeral directors had previously worked together for a firm in Cornwall. The mix of Scottish and French heritage made this acquisition a natural partnership for the countries of Glengarry and Stormont.
