Steve Ward, the Service Manager at Nissan Barrie was amazing to deal with! He went above and beyond in dealing with repairs I needed to get done after an unfortunate accident.
The service Steve gave was personable and supportive.
Today, I was very impressed with my service. Always good, but today exceptionally good. Thanks. Muffler repaired, brake pads replace, drums cleaned, license plate holder replaced. Cost reasonable. Great job. Thanks to Brandon and those who worked on my car.
My car was a no start and was towed into the dealership. A day later they call to say the car is ready. When I go to leave, the car won't start. When I go inside to inform service, they say $115 per shop hour and obviously wouldn't try to problem solve. Will never do business with them again, nor buy from that dealership.
Horribly run dealership. GM is indifferent and the Service Manager is a condescending mouth piece who could care less and only wants to take your money.
In all my car buying experience I've never had a problem with a dealership until I walked into Barrie Nissan which has been nothing but a problem since then. They'll do a great job selling you but then want nothing to do with you and blame you for issues. I've had better experiences at used car lots.
A despicable dealership and an embarrassment to the Nissan brand, I don't know how or why Nissan Canada allows them to operate this way. They seem to have a complete and utter disregard for the customer so don't even waste your time escalating anything as no one seems to care and they are only in it for themselves.
DO NOT buy a car from Barrie Nissan, go to Orillia Nissan...it will be worth the drive and save you the aggravation of dealing with the unprofessional Service Manager & General Manager.
Wanted $890 for a lower control arm repair. Claimed it was a serious safety concern and needed immediate replacement. My own inspection yielding it was wearing but fine. Replaced both anyways, mechanic @ $310, self-installed @ $120 + 1hr.
