I was delighted with the place, the food, and the friendliness of the owners! I visit them 2-3 times a week, and every time, the quality of the outstanding foods brings me back! The trio grill, featuring kofta, shawarma, and shish tawuk is the best! In fact, every item on the menu is worth its weight in gold! I always order the Ayran yogurt drink along with the food, and it complements the food so well! The portion sizes are huge, so eat to your hearts content, and be happy!!

Decor and ambiance need a lot of work. Seems to be geared more toward take-out, and for this I will definitely return soon. Very tasty food, short wait time.

Fantastic all together

I recently moved from lebanon and i didnt except food as homemade as my mother made it. My family and i decided to see what canada has to offer and we loved it. The owner made the expirence even better. He connects with all his customers which is somthing not many servers do. He made us feel at home. My mom is an amazing cook, but honestly this food was so much better. Ive been to the other tarboosh restaurants but the one in burlington was by far the best. When i read the bad stories about this amazing resturant i couldn't believe it. This place is my home away from home, fantastic service, fantastic food, and fantastic prices.

I love going to this restaurant for lunch...

I love going to this restaurant for lunch - although I must say that I am a little dismayed by reading the other comments listed. I admit though I will probably not go back for the dinner - it is almost the exact same thing as the lunch buffet but costs $4 more. I have always found the owner very friendly although last time we were their we commented on the birds that they now have. I am not too sure about having birds in cages in the same room that I am eating in.

Excellent food and reasonable price. I like this restaurant especially the buffet and take-outs (sandwiches/wraps). I also like their tabouli salad and hummus.

Have had lunch & dunner dine-in and take-out, and never had any of the problems I've just read here. Food has always been delicious and service is freindly, although not in the typical professional western fashion, but then again I'm not here for a fine dining experience. If you seek good food, reasonably priced I think the odds are very much in your favour. p.s. there's a horror story about EVERY restaraunt if you seek it. Looking forward to my next lamb kabobs!

We've been going to this restaurant for many years. The food has always been honest and home made. Tonight we had a terrible time altogether. The buffet was so poor and so many empty holes, barely anough food for one person. The dinner buffet promised different kinds of meat and they had some meatballs (yuk) and chicken shwarma (that looked like someone ran over the poor chicken before it was served). We kept begging for a glass of water and to top the experience, the fire alarm stared ringing non-stop (the owner said it was a test - at 7 PM????????). It took one of the customers to shut it down, for it to finall stop. Dinner was horrendous, I will NEVER EVER go back. Should have stayed home and made myself some KD. Terrible experience! DO NOT GO!!!!!!!!
