Avoid at all costs
I've moved quite a bit and these we're the absolute worst movers ever. Before the move (about 15 pieces of light office furniture, moving it down one floor in a commercial building) we agreed on a flat rate price, taxes included. When the movers showed up, the complained about the amount of furniture to be moved, and demanded more money. We finally settled on a price, but when the move was completed (which took them an hour at a very, very slow pace) they wanted more money, plus tax. As we were already paying them a very generous amount for a relatively easy hour's work, we refused. We finally worked out a cash deal, after much argument. I can't imagine using these guys for a bigger move. Nightmare. Needless to say, they were anything but cordial. I should have been tipped off by their amateurish website or the fact that the person who answered the phone sounded like I woke him up. Boo-urns!
