I've been here maybe 6 times, maybe more. The Sicilian pizza is delish! I also like the wings, tasty and crispy. I had their sweet potato fries with the sauce! MMMM I have not had a bad waiter or waitress here. Helpful and prompt is how I would describe them. One time I was sat by the kitchen which usually means you hear the arguing but no! Just people placing orders and picking up stuff. I recommend this place to everyone.
Had an excellent time! Had the chicken almandine, best food I ever ate!! The staff was wonderful took care of everything I needed! Great restaurant!
Not knowing what a schnitzel was, my wife and I thought we'd give it a try. I had the Jager schnitzel, she had the chicken, and we both had german potatoes. It was bland and flavourless, with the consistancy of shoe leather and the potatoes were completely disgusting with odd, unidentifiable bits. Everything was presented in one obscene pile on my plate although the 1 piece cauliflower, 1 piece broccoli, 2 sliced of carrot, and half a baby corn were fairly decent, if only a little bland and altogether a bit sparse. Overall, we'll never there again. In the old days, the chef would be shackled and flayed in a public square. Although that isn't legal anymore, he should, at the very least, be removed from his position as he is an absolute insult to food. As for atmosphere, well the fact that the manager undermines his staff by pointing out that they are "new and you'll have to excuse them" says it all. Our waitress did a fantastic job serving us regardless of her boss' rudeness.
The food is always great! It has a cozy warm feeling to it, very personal. The service has been very slow every time that I have been there. The servers dont seem to know that you need to check back with your table....ever!
The ceasar salad is always perfect, the wood fire thin crust pizza is refreshing from the regular cornwall fare. great value and is our favorite place to eat.
Soup du Jour was very tasty. Thin crust pizza tasted wonderful but was a little meagre on ingredients. Goulash was robustly flavoured and filling. Great atmosphere and friendly service. Definitely a place to return to.
