Since moving to Ontario from Vancouver Island, I've come to know the team at KW telescope... They'll discuss with you what you want to do and what they have that will provide that. Suffice to say that they will sell you what you need at the best price... They won't try to oversell you... It is a great place. The only time I would go elsewhere is when they don't have it and they can't get it. I've been an amateur astronomer for over 40 years and they are the best...
The best astronomy store in Canada. Brian has been very professional and has gone beyond my expectations when I needed immediate response. Shannon is also very helpful and knowledgeable. Highly recommended.
I cannot imagine a better place to shop for anything astronomy related. The owner, Brian is a fabulous resource and wealth of information. There are a lot of things that can go wrong with astronomy gear, but Brian is terrific at troubleshooting for you.
Couple that with great prices and they can't be beaten.
Really cool store! Lots of stuff to see, and the staff seem very knowledgeable and helpful. They spent an hour with me answering my questions, and talked me out of buying the wrong things. Anywhere else would just take your money. You can tell they do it themselves, and want the customer to be happy. I rarely give five stars, but I was very impressed by them.
I ordered a product. I was told it would take 2 weeks. I waited until almost 4 weeks to pester them if my order would be in soon. I was given a brief reply of it should have been, we will look into it. I heard nothing for 8 more days. I decided to go with a store that had one in stock and ready. I confirmed with that store then contacted KW Telescope to cancel my current order. Upon doing so, Shannon, proceeded to be very impolite and short with me in multiple emails. DO NOT RECOMMEND.
