Sands Restoration Services Ltd

Recommended to us by insurance company and agreed to do job to a very specific timeline. They talked a good game and assured us everything would be done on time and to a high standard. We found out the weekend before they were due to start that they had sub-contracted the work just 1wk earlier and and now the required trades were not available on the agreed timeline. Waited until 2nd week for correct tradesperson who then did an extremely poor quality job. Having to have the job redone.

Also, pushed on us from our insurance company. Did not perform a complete investigation missing very significant damage to our house. Appraisal of damage was ridiculous. They are clearly are working with the insurance companies not for the homeowners. They just want to patch up the mess and move on to the next claim. No pride in their workmanship. Don't even care about the policy holders concerns. Would not recommend them or the work they do. Quick get another appraiser!

Poor Service

Foisted on us by our insurance company, we had the displeasure of dealing with this company for our basement flooding. After sending a group of inept workers, including what must of been one of the employees' mothers, and failing to sanitize the mess, their poor organization had us stranded for two months as our insurance company would not let us work with another company to rebuild our basement until Sands gave their quote (which it took them 6 weeks to give). Awful, awful, awful.
