I had an appointment at the office a month ago. It was very busy, I waited about an hour but when I finally saw the dr he was great. He explained everything to me and was very kind. The staff were very helpful and told me if I ever needed anything else all I had to do was call.
Dr. Vijay did a wonderful job on my two cataracts and I now have 20:20 vision for the first time in decades. He is very professional and efficient and he has an excellent staff of very helpful and professional assistants. Thanks Dr. Vijay.
Dr Vijay did cataract surgery on my eyes - did not go well at all. Ended up having to go to Ottawa 3 times to correct the botch-up job he did. Will never get complete eyesight back in that eye. He tore the cataract, and a piece of it went in the back of my eye, and a specialist was needed to fix his error. No compensation for all the expenses we have incurred going back and forth to Ottawa to see a specialist. Not impressed.
Receceptionist is always pleasant, and gets you in a timely manner. Dr Vijay is very straightforward, and will give you an answer to any question you may have. I highly recommend him.
Practically kicked me out. Went in for an eye floater that I had since December ever since I got something in my eye, "tripled in size since" I told him, was concerned it might be a retinal tear. Checks my eyes very rushedly (It wasn't even busy), doesn't ask any questions, doesn't give me any information. "I don't see anything there, have a nice day." Absolutely terrible experience, didn't sound empathetic at all for my situation. Eye floaters are extremely stressful. And I'm only 20.
I was very impressed with the doctor but when it came to booking a follow up about they insisted on two appointments because I lived in town and One if I lived out of town! I would like to know why as I don’t drive and was not offered any explanation of why that is as I think it is a very poor policy! I would like the doctor to post a response!
Professional, detail oriented. Ran numerous tests including MRI. Great follow up care. Staff are kind and extremely professional
