I brought my truck in with the engine light on. They were very quick to diagnose the problem, and were more than willing to explain the issue. Very fair pricing, and very knowledgeable! Would highly recommend them to anyone.

This is the only auto shop I would go to in Durham region. The employees are knowledgeable, helpful, friendly and honest. They diagnose problems quickly, and they are always willing to explain the issue. I wouldn't take my car anywhere else.

There are not enough stars to describe this company and its staff. They gave me friendly great service and fantastic prices to repair my cars. I have visited them many times with my other cars and on 1 occasion it was a Friday and the owner offered me a BBQ lunch which serves his employees and customers. A+++++

I recently brought my car into Classic Auto for an oil change and brake check as I was told by another garage that I needed my front brakes replaced. Upon further inspection I was told that my brakes were in fact ok, and at most could use a service. After explaining to me exactly what was involved with that, I ended up having both my front and rear brakes serviced for a reasonable price instead of replacing what were still good brakes. I will be taking my car to Classic Auto from now on!

Amazing Service!

As I was driving to work the other day I noticed a rattling sound coming from beneath my 07' Mazda, being new to town I was unsure which shop to take my car to that would offer me fast, efficient and affordable service. Through surfing the yellow pages for car repair shops, I came across Classic Auto - and because they had the best reviews, I went out on a limb and took my Mazda to the owner, Tony. Tony was able to schedule me in between two of his clients to accommodate my schedule. He diagnosed the problem in under 10 minutes and gave me the honest truth that nothing was truly wrong with my car, only a plate had shifted beneath it, which he fixed with no charge! Unlike most mechanics, Tony did not take advantage of the fact that I do not know too much about cars.. I highly recommend Classic Auto!

My New Mechanic

I was sent to Classic Auto by a friend of mine. I'm glad I went. I have a 2011 Chrysler 300 that was giving me some electrical issues. Out of warranty so I knew it was going to be very expensive. Tony diagnosed the problem in no time and came up with several pricing options for me. He offered prices on the cheapest parts and the best parts. He also explained what the parts would do for me and how long I could expect each to last. Tony treats me better then my doctor. In the end, we went with a medium priced option. I had my car back in under 2 hours and I think it works better then ever. I'm almost 80 years old and have had many, many mechanics. Tony is my number one guy from now on. Thanks Tony. Great work.

Great Experience!

I recently was having trouble with my breaks on my 04' sunfire, and was looking for a good quality job with a reasonable price and Classic Auto gave me just that! I phoned Tony and told him about the issues with my breaks (they were chugging, the routers were gone) and he gave me a fast cheap estimate over the phone for just over $200 which was nearly $300 cheaper than the last 5 shops I had called. I brought my car in that day and they ordered the parts and fixed it right away! I've had no problems with my breaks after that they did an awesome job, so I referred my parents to Classic Auto as well and they agree that his prices are the best they've seen. Tony and the guys there have great customer service skills and offer the best job for the best price, don't go anywhere else!!! Emily//

Great Guys

I took my 2006 Trailblazer to Classic Auto because some bad noises were coming from the front wheels. They told me that the front hubs and front breaks needed replacing. This was bad news for me as I am on a limited budget. Tony searched around for the best parts for me at the best price he could get. He really put extra effort into trying to save me every penny he could. I had to wait in his shop for the work to be done because I didn’t have anywhere to really go. Tony offered me a ride to the nearest mall and provided me with a coffee while I waited. He kept me informed of every issue or change in the repair and was extremely friendly the entire time. My truck runs like a dream now, Classic Auto did excellent work P.S. His washrooms are REALLY clean. Thanks Guys. Mrs.M

Don't go to ANYONE else!!!

Simply the BEST mechanic...PERIOD! I trust Tony and the boys with all my vehicles. From my daily driver SUV to my wifes Jetta. All the way to my classic (Near mint) 67 fastback. Tony has never "steered" me wrong. He always lets me know what needs fixing and what I can go without. Leave it in the morning, pick it up at night and trust the work was done right. Thanks Tony.

Best By Far

A friend had recommended Classic Auto to me. I took my Car there because of a terrible noise coming from the drivers front wheel. They were able to take me in right away without any hassle. Tony showed me that the noise was actually coming from my brake backing plate. He fixed it in about 2 minutes and didn't charge me a cent. I have had no problems with it since then. Two weeks later I was back in to have my muffler fixed. Tony was able to get it replaced in under an hour. I got an oil and filter done at the same time. The whole thing was very reasonably priced. Tony and the guys at Classic Auto are very friendly and willing to go that extra mile to make sure I'm happy. I will be taking my car to Classic Auto from now on as long as I can get there.

Damaged my Radiator. Refuses responsibily

I had my van in for Tony to change transmission lines. While it was in Tony's garage he called me and said my rad was "leaking like a seive" on the DRIVER'S side. Told him to leave it. It hadn;t been leaking before I brought it to Tony. Took the van to a rad repair shop and the guy there showed me how whomever had repaired the lines had heated a fitting and melted a hole in the radiator and then proceeded to try to repair it with epoxy. And the rad was actually leaking on the PASSENGER side which is where the fittings were attached. I offered Tony the chance to repair what his garage had damaged. He swore at me and told me to "get the ___out!" I definitely would NOT recommend Classic Auto Repair!!

Mr.Sparkle (made up name) brought in his own parts, transmission cooler lines, which he wanted us to change on an agreed price, as he was told by another garage that they were leaking. We could see the radiator was leaking antifreeze near the transmission cooler line connection and was already epoxied. We advised this to Mr. Sparkle, who did not want to come and see it, but he INSISTED on replacing the cooler lines only. So we replaced the lines as he asked for $60.00 (the agreed cost prior to seeing this) and epoxied it. He came back 2 days later and said the rad was leaking and he wanted it repaired - we repeated that we had advised him on this in the first place, but as a gesture of goodwill offered to do the labour for FREE if he supplied/bought the rad. This was more than a fair offer. Mr Sparkle said he wanted another garage to repair it and for us to pay the bill for his new rad on his van that has over 300,000 km on it. We declined- obviously. He then proceeded to swear, yell and threaten the owner in front of other customers, and at that point was ordered out of the shop.
