Bella Vista Tavern Restaurant

Restaurant & Bar is all renovated. We went for breakfast, the food portion or good and price is reasonable; the only negative part is there's not enought lighting in the restaurant and bar.

I have to try the gluten-free crust here since I've just found out I am sensitive to gluten. However, we order from from time-to-time, and they do make a good pizza. The only thing I don't like is the taste of their onions. My favourite combo is pepperoni, mushrooms and onions, and this is the only pizzeria where I never order the onions because they just taste...old. You know the taste I'm talking about? Like a stale, almmost rotten onion flavour? What is up with that? Otherwise, yeah, I recommend it.

Awesome gluten-free!

We have visited Bella Vista many times and have truly enjoyed our experiences there. My dad has celiac disease and Bella Vista is one of the only places in Ottawa he can eat pizza gluten-free. The service is excellent and the prices are reasonable. If you're looking for casual, traditional family dining, Bella Vista is the place to go.

I went to bella vista growing up, and was diagnosed with celiac a couple years ago. I found out they had gluten free pizza and fell in love with it. It is soooooo much better than frozen gluten free pizzas and equally as good as "regular" pizzas

It' really nice to see a restaurant that caters to the Gluten-Free crowd. It's hard to find good gluten-free pizza but they have done an excellent job here!! Their pizzas are great!!

They do make excellent gluten-free pizza here, can barely tell the difference and as for "regular" eaters there is lots to please, and I should mention, a wonderful aroma when you walk into the restaurant. We have dined here and done take-out many a time, it never lets us down.

I have Celiac Disease and can not eat food with wheat in it. This resturant make the best Wheat and Gluten free pizza I have ever had. In Addition the rest of my party had normal pizza and pasta dishes which they all thought were great. I would reccomed this restaurant without hesitation.
