Service is not bad. Can be crowded. We go often enough to be considered regulars.
Generally a hangout with some decent food.
Jukebox, lots of televisons. Live entertainment and kareoke on the weekends.
Their food is excellent: flavourful, gigantic portions, clean and inexpensive. Alas, Danny just sold it and tomorrow (Sept. 12, 2006) will be his last night there. Some nice Indian gentlemen seem to have bought it. However, there is no better value for the money than the 2 meals for $12.95 every Friday night. I've eaten in hundreds of bars, diners, restaurants, etc. and this is the best value in Toronto. Too bad! Let's hope that the new owners will keep some semblance of the previous, and original owner Danny.
