The food was burnt and the customer service was rude and unprofessional.
Very good food.We been going there for years
There were people at the bar but my boyfriend and I were the only ones seating in the dining area of the restaurant. The food was the best part of our service. Our waitress was rude and unattentive, so much so that we will not return. The setting was awkward and unappealing.
Very disappointing. We went to the restaurant to try something new but instead had a terrible time. The food was okay, nothing great. The drinks were mixed by hand (iced tea was grainy), but the service was by far the worst. The waitress was rude and when a mistake was made on the order she was sure to blame one of us and figure out WHO made the mistake, then making a big deal to fix the mistake. She also had quick snips that were unappreciated. Clientele wasn't great either. It had a depressing atmosphere with singles just sitting and drinking and not mingling at the bar. Very quiet and awkward setting. However, building was in good condition and cute decor.
The food here is the best greek food I have ever had, and I'm from Toronto and have visited every Greef restaurant on the Danforth. The food here is all homemade, very fresh, perfectly seasoned, and the portions are generous and the price is very reasonalbe. They offer non-Greek items as well, which are equally as good. The washrooms look a little old, but very clean. Service was great. I think the reviewer who called it "the saddest place in the world" isn't taking into account the fact of where the restaurant is located on St. Paul St., a location that is a tough spot for a restaurant. I visit again and again.
Great food - all home made and the salad was fresh and pentiful, more than you could eat. lots of parking.
GREAT FOOD looked home made... the restaurant looked older but was keep well. great local place.
The saddest place in the world. My friend and I ordered fish & chips to go, and had beers while we waited. This place has all the charm and ambience of a drunk tank/19th century asylum. The other patrons were busy carrying on loud and often hilarious conversations, sometimes with others, mostly with themselves. No one was eating anything, except for an impossibly old and weak looking man, dressed head to toe in florescent rain gear, who ordered ice-cream.
