Founded in 1983 NorCan Flexible Packaging was originally called Kari Poly. The company started manufacturing garbage bags but quickly diversify in more technical film such as Co-Ex for security envelops and for the dairy industry. In 1994 Leo Mayette joined the company as the sales manager and brought a strong clientele in the frozen food industry. The new clientele and the growth forced the company to expand it's operation and NorCan Flexible Packaging was moved to it's current address. Printing and bag making equipment were added at the same time to diversify the product offering. In 2004, NorCan faced the same situation and the facility was expanded to 42,000 sqf.
