it was my first time in my life when the waiter shouted at me ... I asked why I waited so long Reply: if you do not want to do not eat It is delicious but this waitress (a woman with short hair) is terrible!
Food: I always have salmon sushi pizza here. didn't try varieties of food but salmon sushi pizza never disappointed me. Service/Atmosphere: it's a small restaurant with little tight spacing between tables. service is average. wait staff are not friendly but they do their job.
Decent sushi, service was good, great location!
Decent value. Have been several times. Best I've ever had??? No chance. Have had far better but at substantially higher price points. Decent sushi - lacks the wasabi bite of more traditional places. Teriyaki relies heavily on soy-based sauces like other places with similar price points. Tempura tends to be heavy. Commercially made noodles and soups. Will I go again - probably. But, don't confuse this with high-end cuisine. Sushi for the masses - good for newbies to the cuisine and for those with less critical palates and standards. Epicures should look elsewhere. Fair food value for the money.
I've been here many times - and keep coming back. The sushi is fresh and I've never had a bad meal here. I love the way they make the spicy tuna - not little morsels, but one big piece and the sauce on top. The tables can feel a bit cramped upstairs. Don't go there looking for any kind of privacy. The downstairs is much nicer, when they open it up. Always go there before shows at the Cumberland.
This is probably one of the best tasting sushi I've ever had. The service and atmosphere are fine, but it's the food itself and the value that brings me back. It's also in a great area of the city. My favourite item is the ginger wasabi roll- it's a change from regular rolls as it has no rice and it just tastes incredible. The sashimi is very fresh and they use great cuts so it melts in your mouth- no stringiness! The chefs at Sushi Inn put great effort into making beautiful and delicious meals. I've been to a ton of sushi restaurants and this remains the tastiest.
This is one of my favourite Japanese restaurants. I go back again and again. The food is consistent and the service is usually very quick. My 2 favourites dishes are the sushi pizza with salmon and the spider roll.
The food was excellent compare with the price. My friend and I went down to the basement and we had a seat on one of the booths. The service was amazing and I still remember our server name Ken. He's a very friendly guy. I strongly recommend, especially downstairs in the basement because it is more quiet and seatings are more comfortable.
We've been to many sushi places, but Sushi Inn truly stands out. Located in fancy-shmancy Yorkville, it has prices, which are lower than the others. Service is excellent. We even took our toddler with us. he enjoyed it too. Highly Recommend
The silver sushi is always fresh, the miso soup is more flavourful than other places and the service is good - waiters are alert and compitent. I have never had to wait long to be seated. I have been there at least three times.
excellent tea, fast service, fantastic, FRESH food!
This restaurant never fails to amaze me! The service is superb, with all the staff waiting to clear your table, fill up your tea and bring the food to you at record time. The food itself is fresh and delicious, and great value at that. One of the best sushi restaurants in the city!
I've been to Sushi Inn a couple of times during my stays in Toronto. The food, I tell, is awesome, yet maybe a bit too much. Service was okay. It's best to come here during lunch or dinner time on weekdays because the place is PACKED on weekends. But the food is great no matter what and the staff would try their best to make sure you are comfortable. Recommended.
