I love Glen, Gord and Rick, they are angels sent to mind our fur babies.
Two have unfortunately retired and I pray Glen will keep going because I can’t imagine going anywhere else. They genuinely love the animals and ooze care and compassion...thank God for them!
I personally and about 6 other people I know have had a pet die because of this place they don’t do there job properly when you are concerned for you pet, around 2 years ago they told me my dog was fine and a couple days later i had to put him down cause a tumour ruptured, they didn’t do proper bowel surgery on my bosses dog and the dogs insides were rotting and died i had someone just the other day bring their cat there and magically just drops dead

Told us our Pug had tumours, the next day a second Yates doctor said no..she had congestive heart failure...after the she didn’t improve from the meds they prescribed we took her to another vet who informed us she didn’t have tumours and she didn’t have congestive heart failure....unbelievable!
Yates X-ray machine provides very foggy images, the other vet had very clear images. Can’t imagine how anyone could make proper diagnosis’ with foggy images
Anyways we obviously suggest going elsewhere!
We trust these vets fully! They will not do unnecessary, expensive procedures, but will do whatever is best for your animals. We have used them for almost thirty years through 4 dogs and 2 cats. We will continue to visit as long as we need a vet.
Not even a one star!!! I took my cat in that was clearly very ill. Heaving his chest to breathe and drooling. Completely lethargic. She told me he had a cold ... I asked for an X-ray and she said that it wouldn’t show anything and was expensive ... I told her i didn’t care about the cost and she said she couldn’t do it that day anyway. I left the office in tears and my cat passed away that night. I called them and told them what happened and the vet didn’t even call me back !!!!! Never go here
Beware Yates vet is not equip with ultra sound, blood transfusions or blood match typing and their xray machine is old. They are not equip in an emergency. Please ask questions and choose a better vet that can save your pets life in an emergency I wish I had.
Absolutely amazing experience every time we go. I have been going to Yates for as long as I can remember! I have complete faith in them and trust them with our fur babies!!! They never overcharge or try to take advantage by selling unnecessary products or services! 24 hour availability!! Never had a bad experience - even situations the are bad are made better by their understanding and compassion.
I will never bring my dog here again. Brought him here a bit ago "just keep doing drops" his eye has been bad since March. His also swelled up where he couldn't see out of it and cloudy. I called and they said "just keep doing drops", if it gets worse bring him back in. Still nothing's changed. I'm sick of them saying keep doing drops. You can only do them for so long before your dog gets annoyed. They don't address the problem. Just keep doing drops..
