My battle with oxy had gotten so bad that I was taking my pills non-stop. This was the only place that had a medical team that I trusted to take care of me. The work was hard and there were times when I wanted to give up and sign myself out of 360, but my therapist, Sue and Dr Charney supported me and encouraged me to keep working on my issues. I’m happy they did because the work really paid off. Since leaving, I’ve been super busy socially, and happily drug free. 360 has given me back my life
I have only positive feelings about my stay at 360. Before entering treatment I was anxious and depressed, and didn’t see a way out. Dr Steiner was patient and understanding and tried different medications until we found the right ones for me. I had been to treatment before, but I had never had real therapy until going to 360. I had the chance to work not only on my alcohol issues, but also on ways of coping with my anxiety. The experience at 360 was immensely helpful to me personally.
AWFUL place. The 3 doctors are the owners, and ALL they care about is your money. I saw my doctor exactly TWICE for 15 mins each (more than others!). For the "individual therapist" literally only 1 person in the center is actually a trained therapist (psychologist). She is there <2 days/week, and only the "special" (VERY VERY RICH) ppl see her. Everyone else does "therapy" with untrained nurses or students. Any issues/complaints are "your responsibility". Great place to throw away $30-40k.
I've been to three treatment centres before coming to dtx 360. I finally found a place which understood my problem and found a way to help me. Long days of therapy groups that were pretty intense. I had a one on one therapist too, but when my problem became clearer, I switched to a different one in the place who was more specialist in that problem. Both one on one therapists were great. The two doctors I had were both really good and worked out my medication right. About time after years of bad doctors in other detox centers. These guys know what there doing.
This facility is 90% business and 10% care. The entire website and tour (if you go in person) emphasizes attention to dual diagnoses and customized care. For $30,000/ month you get only FOUR 1-hour sessions with a therapist. And, to make things worse, there is only ONE part-time clinical psychologist who literally graduated 6 months ago - very wet behind the ears. NO ONE EVER sees any of the three psychiatrists for 1-on-1 therapy - we were told they are "very busy" with other responsibilities.
Can't help but laugh @ the guy below who's complaining that he felt nauseous when detoxing off heroin...like, what were you expecting, guy? But srsly, I also went in for opiates. It's not fun. It's hard work. But it is SO worth it. Turned my whole life around, and my family's lives. And if you have to do it, this is definitely the most comfortable and nicest place. The people there really care about you and your recovery. They really know what they're doing, and they are really effective.
Changed my life... If you are serious about quitting drugs or alcohol, then this is definitely where you should go. I finally got help for my addiction and my depression. Place is very comfortable and clean. Would highly recommend. Thank you to the wonderful and compassionate staff.
I went there for detox from heroine addiction. On my very first day they messed up the dosage of my methadone…in my very first hours of being at the rehab, I began to become incredibly nauseous. The nurse on my floor didn’t even know what the symptoms of opiate withdrawal was. SHE LITERALLY USED GOOGLE on the computer to look up withdrawal symptoms. I couldn’t even make this up. UNREAL. This did not make me feel like I was in the care of professionals. Public rehab like Foster was MUCH better.
