Meet the owner

Even before Caroline Jodoin and Laurence Marinacci completed their studies in fashion marketing, they were passionate about decorating. While they went their separate ways after finishing school, they ultimately ended up working for the same decorating company. Soon, they put their office work aside to explore their creativity.

For a year and a half, they built a business plan. "It was a long and beautiful process," says Caroline. The two young women already knew they wanted to open a decorating store, but were not sure how to go about it. After much reflection, they formulated a plan and the project came to life. The word "Nola" was already one of their favourites, and then, to add a more masculine touch, came the word "Buk".
