I was last minute in asking for some roof repairs after a big windstorm did some damage on my roof. Despite the weather turning cold and even after a brief snow, we had one warm day and they came to make the repairs on my roof. Sergi took pictures before and after and shared them with me. An incredibly hard worker and efficient roof repair completed, more work than I expected. (Can’t see the roof without going up there.) I’m back to really watertight so I avoided what could have been a disaster! Thank you HomeStar!! Obviously the lighting is darker by the time Sergi & his helper finished the job. 👍👍

Purchased a heatpump with Homestar, had a fantastic experience. Shelley provided a most excellent customer service experience. Did not feel rushed during our initial meeting, never felt pressured to buy. Was provided multiple options/quotes. Shelley was so lovely and kept in communication with me throughout, even checking in a few days after install to ensure my satisfaction!! (She was even there on the day of install to ensure everything went smoothly!!! Wow!!) Ryan and Cody installed the heatpump and did a great job. They were thorough and knowledgeable. Very professional and kind to boot! Electrician was A1 also! Super nice!!(Got to see cute pictures of his cats!! Was happy for the personable experience!) Homestar sent Alex and Jake to rebuild our front garden boxes. They did a fantastic job. The next day was calling for rain, so they worked hard for a full 12-hour day to make sure the job was done on time. They were professional and easy to work with, communicated with us throughout the job, met all of our specs, and clearly took pride in their work. Homestar has been a trusted contractor for us over a handful of jobs, and they continue to earn our trust.

We are on our 3rd major home renovation project with Homestar, & couldn't be happier with the results. Renovations are always an ordeal (especially when it means having the main bathroom unavailable), but our current carpenters, Chris and AJ, are making it as painless as possible. They are both competent, professional, and friendly. They work well together (nothing more uncomfortable than having folks around who don't get along) and they leave the work area impeccable each evening. We're already planning our next project. Added March, 2025: we continue to be thrilled with the quality of work HomeStar does for us. Nathan and Leighton recently made improvements to our front porch deck. They did outstanding work and were a pleasure to deal with.

I have been checking out the job that your team did at the Presbyterian Kirk. I was extremely surprised at how quickly you were able to respond to our job. I am pleased with their work on many levels. First, I am impressed that you considered the condition of the roof deck and recommended sheathing the whole deck. This will help that side of the roof last so much longer than the parking lot side that is showing sag on both ends at the gables. Secondly, I am pleased that you added a vent cap that has never been considered previously. Lastly, your team cleans up like no other contractor the I have encountered. We're very pleased with the work performed by Homestar Team; John F & Parker at our cottage. They were both very professional & explained the work being done. They did a great job replacing some trim and new evestroughing, which makes the exterior look so much better.

Ricardo is a great employee, always nice, knows what he's talking about. He's been the one to fix my maintenance issues other than once, and has done a good job .No complaints from me.

We had Homestar do a full reno of a small bathroom in our 130 year old house. They were quick to visit and provide an accurate and reasonable quote, then began work soon after (especially given some of the wait times we had heard from other contractors). The project manager and team that led the reno were professional and kept the job site and hallway very clean. We wanted to keep some features of the old bathroom (tub/sink/floor), update others(walls + tile/electrical/plumbing/shower/toilet), and mitigate with some water issues behind old walls - they did it all to our liking without any issues. There's not a square corner in our old uptown house, but the Homestar team were able to bring it down to the studs and adjust the space perfectly to install the tile pattern we requested.
