The food is good quality, but because they are tapas, prices add up and the food is influenced by Vancouver Japanese food... so it's not authentic, which was disappointing. Staff is really friendly. The inside of this restaurant is quintessential diner. The lady behind the bar was very friendly as was our server. The food came out quickly, hot, and fresh even though it was a busy time of the day. For the price, the sandwich was a little small but given the location so near to Yonge & Dundas I suppose higher prices should be expected. The huevos rancheros came with 2 eggs, a generous amount of black beans, avocado, and chorizo sausage as well as a delicious corn muffin. I love this spot, for some good drinks and a chat whether I'm on my own or with friends. One of my favourite things about this spot is that they have a variety of foods of different nationalities which is rare to see! I've been loving the new management as well and the changes they've made from the renovations to the changes in the menu. As a vegetarian I appreciate having multiple options to choose from and my favourite at Wylie's is Green Mango Tofu and Olive oil based vege pasta. Read more
