I'm not sure what restaurantica12 problem is with this restaurant. Me and my husband comes here about once a month and it's fantastic, except simetimes when he gets the full rack of ribs one of them isn't the greatest. And honestly it's the best meal for your buck. Will recommended it to anybody who isn't fussy on where they eat just what they eat. Good home cooked meals. Yummy yummy!

Restaurant had just us and another single customer, who was happy with service also. Server explained that previous staff were a disaster. Got rid of them because they were cause of bad reviews! Friendly owners, great food, awesome store, amazing place! Clean, homey dining room, freshly baked goods, and a warm welcoming atmosphere. Don’t be surprised if the owner takes out his guitar and plays a tune or two! I am told that there is even live music jams here a couple times per week. We were driving from Toronto to Ottawa with with two kids and making stops every few hours (Madoc is two hours outside of Ottawa). We hit the ice cream place next door on the way to Ottawa. On the way back we stopped for lunch. Great fried chicken and club house sandwich. Great price.
