This is our favourite restaurant when we travel through New Brunswick. We always plan our trip so that we are able to stop for clams. (Best clams I've had in a restaurant.) We have even had to spend a night in the area, so that we are able to be there when the restaurant is open. Can't wait to go again!!! Read more

The food is a fine dining experience in my opinion, with many layers and nuances to each dish. For our last visit our server was Josef. On Feb. 23, I took my Mum(93) to Skipper Jacks for Smelts and when we arrived were told they had run out but just waiting for their supplier. We weren't able to wait and they kept apologizing but we started to leave when Jonathan from the kitchen and said he would go buy some and would be back in 15 minutes, we sat and in 20 minutes, Mum was enjoying the best smelts she had ever eaten. They certainly went an extra mile for us and as it is so hard to get Mum out we cannot THANK them enough. Peggy Read more
